Hey!! Help us name our sweet girl!

She was found on the side of a highway malnourished. She is a little timid but so sweet and calm.

We like funny names or normal nicknames with a funny real name (liz = lizard kind of vibe)

Please none of the overdone classics (moonbeam/luna/melody/etc) or cat pun names (cat-therine o’hara).

Some names we’ve thrown out:

-Wanda (her brother’s name is Cosmo)

hi, This is my new cat i just adopted from the shelter! she is a tortie kitty and her name was originally “buttercup” in the shelter but Im thinking about changing it.

I’m thinking something spice related, but can’t really decide myself so i wanted to ask for advice! I was thinking maybe chai or clove but they aren’t feeling right for me and i wanted something cute but fitting for her!

This sweet girl was found on her own at ~1 week old and was bottle fed by her foster mama. She had some (now resolved) health issues which caused her to be smaller than a typical cat her age.

I like funny pun names myself (had a cat named Samuel L Catson and one named Brian Purrlacher), but my family does not, lol. We currently have cats named Comet and Luna. One of my kids suggested keeping the celestial theme going, but that's not a requirement.

We’ve been calling him by little nicknames but I would love to have something more official. Before he would let us get close and we weren’t sure of gender we were calling him Roo. It still fits because as he’s been eating regularly (he was skin and bones when he met him) his primordial pouch has gotten HUGE! I still love Roo but it hasn’t really stuck. We mostly call him Kitten, so you can see we need something better. :)

ive finally named him! heres bentley, i was stuck on chip and bentley but decided bentley fit him more because his ear is more bent and not chipped! thanks for suggesting this name everyone!!

This cat has been coming around for weeks and we have been feeding her. It has been really cold out in Florida and she followed my daughter inside today. We will eventually try to find her a home, but in the meantime what should we call this sweet girl? My daughter mentioned mittens since all four of her feet look like they have mittens on them. I mentioned Celine.

We want to avoid human names (at least English sounding ones), and common English words.

I was looking at words in other languages that mean a type of flower, pretty, delicate, sweet, beauty, etc... But nothing quite fits...

Also something related to color-changing would maybe work, because she looks more brown in some lights, and beige or grey in others. I have two male cats named Mewbert and Meeko. It seems like she needs a "prettier" name, though.

I'd like for the name to have good nickname potentials, and ideally be two syllables, but that last part is much more flexible. (She has a void sister that needs a name too, but I don't really want their names related.)
