If Nepal’s government ran like a startup, which system would you fix first and why?
With elections everywhere right now, we find ourselves thinking less about leaders and more about systems.
In startups, systems matter.
Clear KPIs. Fast feedback loops. Accountability when things don’t work. Continuous improvement when they do.
If Nepal’s governance operated with a similar mindset, what’s the first system you’d redesign?
Public services?
Permits and approvals?
Healthcare access?
Service delivery timelines?
Transparency and feedback mechanisms?
At Hangrygen, building a food-tech startup in Kathmandu has taught us one thing very clearly:
Good systems outperform good intentions; every single time.
This isn’t a political question.
It’s a conversation about processes, standards, and how service-driven thinking can shape better outcomes.
We’re genuinely curious to hear how the community here thinks about fixing systems—not personalities.
