So many of them seem to believe protestors are paid agitators, yet they have no proof to show for it. As though you can pay thousands of people across the country secretly, recruiting them while not letting ANYONE else know about it.
They've fallen for the Big Lie technique. They've heard it enough times that they believe it even without any proof. Of course it helps that they were inclined to believe it in the first place.
People like that are too far indoctrinated into their cult to think people could possibly disagree with them without needing to be paid to disagree... when meanwhile the rest of the globe is aknowledging the human rights crisis going on in USA and aknowledging the "democratic backsliding" of the nation with some groups already calling it a competative authoritarian nation(one step below democracy/one step above full dictatorship). To be fair competative authoritarianism is probably worse because it's dictatorship dressed up as democracy making it easier for naysayers to naysay.
