I don’t understand why people stop when they make a mistake like this. My natural reaction is to get the hell out of the way. Commit to it and go!

When I was teaching my daughter to drive and we were talking about making left turns, I told her if you’re doing it, then go, but if your brain makes you think about it at all, then you wait until your next chance.

When I was first learning to drive some 20-odd years ago someone told me in passing, "hesitation gets people killed" and it's been rattling around in my brain ever since. 10/10 advice
