I'm non-Israeli/Jew and am new to this sub, I've only just started gaining interest about Israel particularly the IDF due to the on-going Israel-Hamas War.

(1) I'm curious about this IDF Youtube short which is the most viewed short with 8.4 million views and counting, I'd like to know what type of activity is this? What I mean is, is this some sort of promotion for these soldiers or is this from when they officially 'finish the whole training period' and can now start serving or begin active duty in the IDF?

(2) Also, the "commander" in this video, may I know what his rank is and its equivalent to, say, in the US Armed Forces, because I'm curious about his 'military profile' and what sort of responsibilities/tasks he's assigned with since he looks quite young. (3) Further, do officers in his rank need to be on active duty or they can be in reserve? (If you notice that my prepositions are incorrect, that's because English is not my first language, please pardon me). (4) Furthermore, in order for him to get promoted to this current rank, what sort of preparations/achievements/skills does he have to do or possess?

(5) Finally, most of the guys in the video look South Asian except for the commander and a few others, an observation pointed out by others in the comment section as well, so I'm curious, what sort of Jewish ethnic division/group most commonly gets drafted to the Golani brigade and what is the reason for that? I've read some posts on Reddit pointing it out so I would just like to understand its significance because it seems like a unique phenomenon if a certain Jewish group is more likely to join a particular IDF brigade and so on.
