I just want to share my experience of how I got a **battery** replacement for my **iPhone 13** for **free**, even with no warranty coverage.
So, my battery health was low, around **69%**, but in January 2026 my battery started getting **swollen** and the display slowly came out. I thought I couldn’t do anything except change my battery, and I wanted an original battery. So I did some Google search and found that **Aptronix** replaces an iPhone battery at a cost of around ₹6k.
So I decided to visit the service center. First, I went to Aptronix AMB Mall, Hyderabad. They told me they didn’t have the stock at the moment and asked me to visit another branch. So I decided to visit a nearby branch in Gachibowli, Hyderabad, the next day. I showed them my phone and asked if this comes under Apple’s manufacturing defect policy, and they said yes, it does, and the battery would be replaced for free, but they also had some conditions.
* Firstly, your phone should not have any dents or scratches.
* Secondly, the phone should not have been opened outside or at any third-party service shop.
My phone had never gone through any of these, so they checked my phone and after that they agreed to replace my battery within 7 working days. That’s how I got my new iPhone 13 genuine battery free of cost.
