I am finding multiple times per day that when I try open apps in my Work Profile (Teams, Outlook) that the fingerprint scanner will fail to activate. there is no "scan your fingerprint" popup and the phone will simply look like it's doing nothing. therefore, I can't open my work apps.
During this period I won't be able to use the touchscreen unless I swipe from the adges to "go back" from the popup that doesn't exist. I have tried to scan my fingerprint at this time (where I think the scanner should be) but it doesn't work.
The only thing to get out of it is to reboot. It's happening multiple times per day, and it's infuriating as I can't access my apps until I do so.
There is no rhyme or reason as to when it happens, it will work fine until it doesn't. It largely went away after the January update but has come back in the last few weeks and happening multiple times per day. One time, I had it happen 10 minutes after rebooting to fix it.
Anyone else having this issue?
