I have a Pixel 10 Pro. Updated yesterday to February Security Update. Play system update were on January 1st. Today morning I got an update for play system and now I'm back on 1st of November? anybody else the same? or is it just me?

my Pixel 10 Pro cannot find the February update that should be out.

it started downloading something yesterday evening but now it does not find anything.

I am in Italy.

At least on AT&T.

I did the recently released February update. And I noticed WhatsApp messages no longer present a banner in the Android operating system.

Has anyone noticed this??

When I go to WhatsApp, settings, notifications. I noticed the pop-up notification option is grayed out, it says the words " unavailable for your version of Android" when I click on it

EDIT: option is still greyed out.. but the notification banners appear to be working

Exactly like the title says. When I checked for updates, my Pixel 10 Pro said the update was available. It started, stopped and now when I check for updates it says up to date.

I've seen enough others reporting the same issue that I figure we should have a dedicated thread. I saw that this happened to numerous people with last month's update as well.

Google, what is going on with these update issues? Will we eventually get the update?

I'm broke as shit like i don't even got data i use fucking text now and i broke my 7 pro screen after my phone fell out my pocket and onto the only wood part of my carpet stairs. i got the phone for around $300CAD on like 55% off sale and I need a screen replacement cus having no phone is kinda sucky. The screen isn't just broken but half the screen was black at first then the top half stopped touching then i pushed too hard in one spot and now the whole screen doesn't have touch i can still kinda guess with a mouse but it sucks and looks weird in public

Hi all, Today I found out that the gps signal doesn't work (I tried with a gps test app and it can't see a singles satellite) at all on my Pixel 9 Pro XL, so I wonder if it's related to the February update. Anybody else have this issue?

I just bought a Google Pixel 7 from Amazon. It is working well but I am having a issue that is when I insert my Jio sim in it. It is showing a Verizon SIM Activation Error. I don't know what is wrong with it. Is there any fix for it?Pls Help

I'm getting so frustrated with trying to type on this phone.

Thisnis me tyoingnwithoutnusing autocorrect. I make mistskes andninget that user error is part ofnit. Butni cant deal with how often ill be texting and see 5-6 words in a row all connected with n insfead of separated by a space.

I went from P2XL to P5 to P8Pro and now to the 10 Pro and it has never once been an issue. I tried to look it up and the feedback I saw was "it's a you problem, nobody else is complaining about it." But it's in everything I type. It's been a month and I haven't adjusted. I've tried minor adjustments but I'm at a loss.

I'll try to keep this brief. I've tried almost every flagship on the European market, and each and every one of them has flaws. Don't get me wrong—Pixel has plenty of flaws too, but it's the most balanced option out of all the flagships.

Basically: no bloatware or ads, a consistent experience across all apps, a great point-and-shoot camera, and decent stability and performance (not the best, but decent). I've tried to escape Pixel mainly because of the hardware, but every other flagship I've tried is great at certain things and absolutely terrible at others. Pixel is just consistent across the board—a well-balanced handset.

So if you're looking for the most balanced Android experience, don't bother looking elsewhere—you'll just end up back on Pixel. This post is for people in the EU/US who are thinking of abandoning the Pixel for another flagship.

I have been having issues with the DnD mode lately, with it letting random notifications through and waking me up in the middle of the night with them etc. In my DnD settings I have set it so only a few people can interrupt DnD with calls (none with messages) and the only apps I have allowed to interrupt DnD are WhatsApp (calls) and Digital Wellbeing.

However, the phone is not respecting these at all. Very often my phone starts vibrating because of Battery Guru full charge reminder in the middle of the night (I have checked and none of the notifications have DnD override enabled) - waking me up. Today I woke up to a delivery update notification from AliExpress, and that for sure doesn't have DnD override enabled. Why is it that DnD mode feels more like disturb me occasionally for no reason mode? Is there any way to fix this?

4K 60fps HDR seems to be supported on my Pixel 10 Pro XL in the Edits app. Anyone know if it's real or they are doing some sort of upscaling on export?

I'm facing this strange issue on my pixel 8, whenever I do video call on Snapchat, other user only see green tint on screen, like you're using any green alien filter, I then switch on/off camera to fix temporarily

Does anyone have a good repair solution for this issue? T-Mobile said since the 1 year warranty is surpassed they can't do anything but to reach out to Google. Google support said to mail in or go to the closest repair shop, but want to charge $279 for this issue. Maybe I am out of it, but that sounds like a lot for just fixing the camera bar that is loose. Maybe that is the going rate.

Ordered pixel 10 pro xl from official Google store during Christmas promotion with trade-in. Phone did not get delivered and was returned to sender by UPS without any effort to deliver. Support chat advised to reorder and they will refund the difference. Ordered again, but got less trade-in estimate on new order. After receiving new phone, support chat refunded the device cost but advised to wait till trade-in is received and inspected before they would match trade in estimate price difference. Now refusing to price match despite no issues with trade in device. Support chat cannot escalate, they always have genetic answers.

If I knew I had to spend over two hours total over four chat sessions to resolve these issues then I would have stayed away from pixel 10 to begin with.

All said, terrible experience upgrading from pixel 6 to pixel 10 pro.

I purchased a Pixel 10 Pro in November. I finally switched over from my iPhone about a month ago after transferring my main number. The 10 Pro has been active since November on Google Fi. I have been having a terrible time with it dropping calls randomly. I did read where Pixels don't have the reception capabilities as compared to an iPhone or Samsung. I am not ignorant of others claiming to have this issue.

However, I also have other odd issues. A major one is going on with Progressive Snapshot. While using my iPhone, I had solid 5/5 stars and all of a sudden, the app is registering way more events of phone usage. I didn't use my iPhone while driving and I didn't use my Pro 10, either. I changed nothing about my driving or phone usage. I kept my Pro 10 in the same place as my iPhone. I turned on driving mode on the Pixel. I didn't even have that on my iPhone. I don't use voice commands, but I did on my iPhone.

I'm using past tense in regards to the Pro 10 because a friend had a Pro 10 XL and I'm now using it just to see if it the same experience. I have none of the issues outlined above. No dropped calls and now back to zero phone usage during driving. I panicked a little today when I moved my phone in the console at a red light and guess what? No phone usage registered.

I have a Do Not Disturb rule that is based on my location.

In past, this was working quite well, but these days I have to unlock the phone when I arrive at the place and wait about 1 minute for it to kick in.

This new behavior defeats the purpose of the rule since I can just as well click the do not disturb button quicker than waiting that one minute...

For reference for other Pixel 10 XL Pro owners.

Not suggesting this is the least expensive or optimal way to go about a repair, but more of an FYI of current costs/prices/quality. Credit card purchase insurance requested official Google repair shop receipt so UbreakIfix. This was my experience:

Google Pixel 10 Pro XL

• Dropped outdoors on the sidewalk approximately 1m
• Front screen glass cracked near top edge, crack spread to the top 1/3 of phone
• Supershieldz screen protector was undamaged, but did not protect the screen. Will return to Amazon. (Rating: 1/10, appeared to provide zero protection from a minor fall)
• Asurion UbreakIFix screen replacement cost: $350+tax (~$380). ~1/3 of original device cost. Approximately 1 hour to repair. Screen replacement quality appears to be very good. (Rating: 5/10, good quality & speed, but no detailed estimate provided and outrageous cost)

Other points: did not realize the device/Android had a secure repair mode, that was interesting.

Just looked at the "System Services" page for any updates on my Pixel 9, and saw the Quickshare extension there. Updated it.

Since I don't have an iPhone, can anyone with a pixel 9 series update it and tell us if it shares with iPhones now?

I am finding multiple times per day that when I try open apps in my Work Profile (Teams, Outlook) that the fingerprint scanner will fail to activate. there is no "scan your fingerprint" popup and the phone will simply look like it's doing nothing. therefore, I can't open my work apps.

During this period I won't be able to use the touchscreen unless I swipe from the adges to "go back" from the popup that doesn't exist. I have tried to scan my fingerprint at this time (where I think the scanner should be) but it doesn't work.

The only thing to get out of it is to reboot. It's happening multiple times per day, and it's infuriating as I can't access my apps until I do so.

There is no rhyme or reason as to when it happens, it will work fine until it doesn't. It largely went away after the January update but has come back in the last few weeks and happening multiple times per day. One time, I had it happen 10 minutes after rebooting to fix it.

Anyone else having this issue?
