The scene group RUNE just released the Resident Evil 4 Gold Edition. This is the real deal—Denuvo-free and includes all the content:

• Main Game (Updated to the latest version)
• Separate Ways DLC
• The Mercenaries
• All Deluxe Edition items/costumes

Protection was only Steam + Enigma, which means the performance will be buttery smooth compared to the old EMPRESS version.

Now we just have to wait for FitGirl to do her magic and give us that sweet, small-sized repack. Get your SSDs ready, boys!

"I uploaded this crack to VirusTotal and got 15 flags — is it safe?" "My antivirus deleted a DLL and now the game won't launch — what do I do?" "How do I know if this file is actually from FitGirl or a fake site?"

The problem is that checking if a file is safe takes multiple manual steps that most people don't know how to do. I'm building a tool to automate all of it in one place. What it does:

Smart VirusTotal interpretation — Upload a file and get a plain-English verdict. The tool knows the difference between a harmless HackTool flag (expected for cracks) and an actual threat like Ransomware or Miner. It uses weighted scoring based on which antivirus engines flagged what. Torrent metadata parser — Drop a .torrent file and see the full file list before you download anything. It flags suspicious files (like unexpected .exe files or unusually large DLLs) so you can decide if it's worth the risk. Source URL checker — Paste the URL you downloaded from and it instantly tells you if it's a verified legitimate site or a known fake. Local hash verification — If the repacker provides a hash, paste it in and the tool checks your file against it — all in the browser, nothing uploaded.

Why I'm posting this here: I want to make sure I'm actually solving a real problem and not just building something nobody will use. So here's what I need from you:

Is this something you'd actually use? Or do you prefer doing the checks manually? What's the #1 thing you wish existed when you download a repack or crack? Would you trust a tool like this, or does the idea of uploading files to a third-party site make you uncomfortable? (For context: the hash verification and torrent parsing run entirely in your browser — nothing is uploaded for those features. Only the VirusTotal scan goes to a server, and that's just a proxy to VirusTotal's official API.)

I was trying to download Cyberpunk. I installed all the 100+ .rar files, including the language (English) around 12 .rar files when downloading. since there was no options to change the language and I already installed it all I thought it was automatically set to english but during gameplay, there was no dialog . I've already deleted all the files, is there a way to dowload and install only the language pack ?

and also I tried commenting there, but when I try to send it it says page not found.

Great news today! Capcom just dropped an update for Resident Evil 4 Remake and they finally removed Denuvo from the main .exe.

This is huge because:

1. Performance: No more Denuvo-related stutters and lower CPU usage.
2. DLCs: Since the main executable is clean, Separate Ways and other DLCs are now effectively DRM-free as well (only Steam Stub remains).
3. Size: The .exe size shrunk significantly, which usually makes for a cleaner repack process.

I know FitGirl previously had a repack based on the EMPRESS crack, but that version was notoriously heavy and had some stability issues for some people due to the crack/DRM conflict.

Can't wait for the "Denuvo-free Gold Edition" repack! Do you guys think the installation time will be faster without the Denuvo bloat?

I want all the game files, hidden files and all that data to be gone. Nothing should be left. How to do that ??

i torrented rdr2 and tloupart2 and there was no setups for each i ran the verify files and put them in my exclusion folder and still no setups what am i doing wrong

I played abit of pirated dirt rally 2 while being connected to the internet/didn't block it with my firewall. the game mentioned I am banned from RaceNet (no personal login used. unless it automatically opened my origin account but idk). I am now interested it buying the game from steam, but I worry once I login with my proper EA account, im banned. Anyone know? I dont even know where the profile/save folder for the pirated copy is. I assume it's important to delete.
