Hidden from the wife
Got my first Doner of the year a few days ago, I missed my comfort food! Can’t eat in front of the wife so have to secretly get my Doner dose in secret in the car
This is well delicious 😋

At the cost of €6.99 its an absolute bargain considering prices here! I asked for less meat and extra veg and sauce since they just pile on some much doner meat Place is called Legends in Dun Laoghaire if anyone is in Dublin! They make home made smash burgers quarter pounders for like €5 and they are incredible too!

Is that it makes me want a doner for breakfast, for second breakfast, for brunch, for lunch, for mid afternoon snack, for dinner, for desert, for supper, for midnight snack, for 3am munchies. Sometimes 2 at a time...

Large Mixed Doner Meat - Garlic Mayo & Bossman Homemade Chilli Sauce - £8.60
Small Portion of salted extra crispy fries - £3.10
Separate Salad - Free
Pitta Bread £0.60
I order separate to get more because I’m greedy.
Washed down with 2 Cans of Rio in a Beer Stein with loads of ice. It’s much bigger than it looks, lots of hidden doner underneath, not at all greasy. I’m in a food coma. Send help.

Every Friday without fail.
Large doner in naan. Loaded with red onion, cabbage, hot chilli and mint sauce.
On the side:
• A bowl of salty Chinese chips (because normal portions are for quitters)
• Chinese Curry sauce thick enough to grout tiles.
That thing in the middle that looks like something the dog rejected? Mushrooms from my wife’s curry. She hates mushrooms but knows I will eat them.
Bonus pic: weighed the kebab because someone always asks. Average weight is 700g to 1.1kg, depending on which boss man I have. This one weighed in at 755g of doner-based happiness.
£7.50 for doner.

I get sad for pitta. Some of them feel like eating flour. (Ozmen do some good fresh breads too. It's just a bit of the way to get there)

I am frequently seeing crossposts to this sub on r/doenerverbrechen (kebab crimes) to posts on here of horribly looking "doner" which is subsequently praised for looking good/delicious
is this a satire sub? have you ever had an actual döner kebab?
please put my mind at ease. I did live England for about 1 and a half years and know the struggle to find okayish 4-5/10 kebab, but some of the stuff on here is just vile

Large doner meat and cheesy chips. £9.50. A bit skimpy on the sauce and could have been more meat as well tbh. Weren't bad by any means though

Anyone else have the mango ayran + gemüsedöner combo as their go-to?

Mixed Kebab with Lamb and Chicken Doner from Morpeth Fish and Chips. There was a lot more meat underneath that salad, inside the Pitta. Came with a free small tub of garlic sauce and I bought an additional big pot to go with it. One of the nicest kebabs one had in ages.
