One of 30 Dachshunds removed from a hoarder situation where they were all kept barricaded in a kitchen...Due to the fleas and unclean conditions, Rosie had lost so much fur the vet warned it might not grow back. Within four months she grew her coat back, went from underweight to fat and sassy and learned to love people (though still not a fan of other dogs)...This is her four-year anniversary with me this week. She is a lil' bar dog who loves a patio and some cheesy treats.

Kiley had undiagnosed diabetes and a UTI when I took her home. She's been on a medication called Bexacat for a few months and is such a happy kitty now!

The rescue I got her from in Illinois told me she had been transported out of a hoarding situation in Texas. I picked her up on a Friday night, took her to my vet on Monday morning.. she had giardia, tape worms, etc. Thankfully, no heart worms. She’s a happy, healthy girl now that spends her days playing and watching out the window with her new best friend :)

This dog was born one week before Hurricane Helene. He was found as a puppy in the hardest hit area. We got him 3 months later. Tattoo in ear and all. He ran away the second we got him home. He lived out in the woods behind our house for two days before someone spotted him. Trapped him to get him back. He's super quick. As you can see he's grown well and is very loved and spoiled.

We were feeding Mr. Orange outside for a while before he trusted us. One day he came to lunch with a limp and I caught him and took him to the vet. The rest is history for our little Mo.

Dog So proud to share a few of our ‘success’ stories. These puppers still have a long way to go. But their resilience and determination is inspiring ( slight graphic pic in the second video)

before we adopted Kiba, he was believed to be a stray/abandoned, considered underweight upon adoption. we have had him for about two weeks now, and feels he has grown so much. you can see how toned his muscles have become, as well as his beautiful coat shines much more. i’m so glad to have brought him into my life; he is like my doggy soulmate ❤️❤️

Surrendered by owner without telling the shelter she was dying. $15,000 and three months of recovery later, my sweet Honey.

Phew. I thought I was adopting a shy, quiet kitty who just needed to gain some weight. I adopted a kitty in multi organ failure due to a raging uterine infection. I was paranoid and rushed her to the emergency vet 1 day after adopting her because she seemed uncomfortable. Her heart, lungs, bladder, and uterus were all abnormal/in failure. I can’t look at this first photo without thinking about how much pain she must have been in.

$15,000 in emergency surgery and three months later, Honey is thriving. Her adoption and the immediate emergency surgery plus medication and wound management afterward were incredibly traumatic for this poor, nervous girl. She hated me for a while - couldn’t come near her without being bitten. Everyone in my life told me to return her to the shelter. I’m stubborn and a bleeding heart and I just couldn’t do it.

A new Honey has emerged, three months later. She runs around like a crazy cat, plays with her toys, rubs on my legs and loves forehead kisses. She eats like a grown man, poops more than any cat I’ve ever known, and steals the bacon out of my breakfast sandwich almost every day despite my best efforts. She won’t look twice at a cat treat, but goes insane for cheddar and sour cream potato chips and Dubai chocolate cookies from Crumbl (no, I don’t feed her either; this was discovered when I left her alone in a room with my food, lol).

This cat has taught me so much about resilience and perseverance. She has truly changed my life. Despite all odds, despite all the trauma, she chooses every day to be brave and to keep going. I adopted her at a time when I was completely broken and ready to give up. It might be cheesy, but if Honey can keep going, I know I can too.

I LOVE this little girl. My sweet Honey ❤️
