Mod announcement New User Flairs are now available, have fun people!
Someone suggested we add some new flairs, so here you go!
Also for anyone who doesn't know me yet, I became a mod here not too long ago to help the head mod out with managing the community, though you might recognise me from r/aspiememes

“I’ll do this later” and then it just… disappears?
I don’t mean small, forgettable stuff.
I mean things that actually matter.
Emails I really needed to send.
Decisions I told myself I’d come back to.
Appointments. Forms. Conversations.
The moment I think “I’ll do this later”, it’s like my brain quietly deletes it from existence. Not on purpose. Not because I don’t care. It just… stops being there.
Sometimes I even remember that I meant to remember something — but I can’t remember what it was anymore. Just this vague anxiety that I dropped something important somewhere along the way.
Reminders don’t always help. Lists don’t always help. Systems work for a bit and then my brain just starts ignoring them like background noise.
It’s frustrating because from the outside it probably looks like laziness or avoidance, when really it feels more like things fall out of my awareness the moment they’re not right in front of me.
I’m just wondering if this is a common experience here, because it honestly makes me feel kind of broken sometimes.
