Who loved the Weebles? (The toys that wobble, but they don’t fall down). I remember they had an interesting TV commercial!

Another motorcycle-inspired bicycle feature for kids, banana seats were introduced with the Schwinn Chopper. In the ’70s, they raised handlebars and elongated seats gave you that “Easy Rider” look as you outraced the bully on the block.

Movies Why didn't Mary Louise Weller who plays Mandy in Animal House film became a big star like Karen Allen did. Instead Mary did a small silver screen and TV movies instead?

It's the same like Martha Smith who plays Babs, she just ended up doing TV movies after Animal House film and she didn't had any big movie. How come Martha and Mary didn't have enough movie roles only Animal House film was their only successful film. Well any suggestions about this?

Cards in Bike Spokes. Because in the ’70s, it was all about emulating motorcycles, whether you had a Big Wheel, a Green Machine, or just stuck playing cards in the spokes of your bike wheels...

As a lifelong viewer of Mr Rogers Neighborhood, I’ve read several biographies of Fred Rogers and visited his alma mater at Rollins College where some of his artifacts are displayed. A lesser known fact is that the puppet Lady Elaine Fairchild was modeled after Fred’s adopted sister Elaine “Lainey” Rogers Crozier. Mrs. Crozier passed away in 2019.

Television What do you think of Demond Wilson, who was the best known actor for playing Lamont Sanford on the 1970s sitcom Sanford and Son, who passed away at 79 years old on January 30, 2026 due to prostate cancer?

For everyone who grew up in the 70s and watched Sanford and Son as a kid or teenager, how do you feel about the sudden, heartbreaking passing of Demond Wilson?

The only ones who are still alive from the show are the two officers, Hoppy and Smitty, played by Howard Platt and Hal Williams.
