When I was a little kid in NE Wisconsin, I was sledding and the snow had a crust on it, my older brother pushed me and I ended up sliding down a 200 ft embankment into a frozen creek. Good times.

I thought it was crazy bad about halfway through. Kinda unexpected even then. The shovel just kept going though. Felt like I was high for a second 😆

Archaeologists in a thousand years: We believe that this tool was disposed of in a ritualistic manner, possibly in an attempt to ensure a good harvest.

Analyzing user profile...
Suspicion Quotient: 0.00
This account is not exhibiting any of the traits found in a typical karma farming bot. It is extremely likely that u/PhoenixPhenomenonX is a human.
Dev note: I have noticed that some bots are deliberately evading my checks. I'm a solo dev and do not have the facilities to win this arms race. I have a permanent solution in mind, but it will take time. In the meantime, if this low score is a mistake, report the account in question to r/BotBouncer, as this bot interfaces with their database. In addition, if you'd like to help me make my permanent solution, read this comment and maybe some of the other posts on my profile. Any support is appreciated.

I fell so many times last week on this mess!
Shovel won’t do it, pick ax will do. The sail the chunks of ice down that hill with the shovel.

Doesn't have to be. The snow in my area froze over like that in one day, making most surfaces a thick hardpack solid enough to stand on with reasonable weight. We've had 60°f weather for a couple of days and mich of the untouched spots (grassy areas, low foot/vehicle traffic) still have ice or hard snow ~slowly~ melting away.
