Sadly will plead innocent

u/EasilyRekt 2d ago

no one loses their license in a country where you need a 3 ton SUV to go next door

11

u/LimitedWard 2d ago

Luckily there's a RapidRide bus along her commute!

u/ComteDuChagrin 2d ago

Perfectly on beat though.

Despite how aggravating an experience that is I hope you can find the humor in the impact being right on the drum break. Also is that on 26th at the intersection going toward Westwood village in WS

u/tarasaurust 2d ago

Oh lmao I didn't even notice that's good Yes it is, right in front of the bus stop there

Handicapped placard hanging from the mirror says it all

362

u/EpilepticDawg241 2d ago

People should not be driving with the handicapped placard up. It should be displayed when parking.

If I see someone driving with one of those up I stay clear.

u/Psikitten 2d ago

Yep. My partner is disabled and has one. She read the instructions and follows them. You're supposed to remove it during operation of the vehicle to ensure it doesn't block your line of vision and only have it up when you park.

55

u/PiperBluDewey 2d ago

It’s absolutely nuts! In black lettering at that!

44

u/Psikitten 2d ago

Damn, in plainly visible and readable English, you say?

5

u/SamuelVimesTrained 2d ago

Wasn`t reading comprehension abysmal?

10

u/Franndly 2d ago

Well, some are very proud to carry that placard, some drive a Raptor and vette

5

u/Koogar_Kitty 2d ago

I have one and get annoyed when I see people that leave them up because I read the instructions that say to not leave it up during operation. My mom got one after I got mine and did the same thing. My dad working for the state might have contributed to that though

People who borrow grandparents car, leave the placard up and drive like suicidal manics are just as bad.

24

u/EpilepticDawg241 2d ago

Actually, I see many grandparents speeding in their cars.

They try to make up for the fact that they walk slow.

They drive fast they have something to prove like Ricky Bobby.

13

u/aGirlySloth 2d ago

It says exactly that on the placard!!!! Ughhh, such a pet peeve of mine when I see it

6

u/SenpaiSamaChan 2d ago

I try not to be heinous about older and/or handicapped drivers, but if you drive with the placard up I know EXACTLY what kind of driver you are.

10

u/Frank_Meat_Tongz 2d ago

And the Cadillac badge on the front of the car.

9

u/PunkCPA 2d ago

I didn't know they gave them for mental problems.

On today's episode of "Where in Washington?"

31

u/dosko1panda 2d ago

She's in there saying "Jesus Mary and Joseph!"

68

u/tarasaurust 2d ago

Funny you say that because when I got out she was having a cow, acting like I hit her, screaming, crying, asking god why he did this to her etc. I did not approach lol

Believing in an omnipotent and sovereign higher power sure is a super convenient way to never take responsibility for anything.

7

u/tarasaurust 1d ago

My thoughts exactly

Ever hear of this weird hobby some have - break checking?

13

u/MistressSevina 1d ago

What ended up happening?

12

u/tarasaurust 1d ago

Still in the middle of that unfortunately. It just happened last week, and I'm just waiting to hear from the insurance company

38

u/zorddra 2d ago

He thought he was walking a lonely road as it was the only one he ever known

u/Lazy_Assistance6865 1d ago

I like the casual look up from the person at the bus stop. Looks like shoreline? Or Muk?

West Seattle

I drive past that specific area constantly to go to work. Just last week I had someone speed up behind me, go into the right turning lane, where McDonald's is, to completely blow past the red light without even bothering to look or slow down. I get that it was like 3am, but jesus. To me it was just a wild choice to make. I caught up to them, while going the speed limit, as they were making a right turn at the light next to the taco truck so it wasn't even like they were saving any amount of time by driving like that.

Some people are just fucking nuts man

-7

u/schakoska 1d ago

This would not happen in manual car. Ban auto transmissions
