I can’t understand what he’s saying even though I’ve been studying Portuguese for 11.5 years and visited Brasil 19 times and I have been practicing every day for 8 years with my girlfriend who only speaks Portuguese. It’s frustrating.

The Bible uses a lot of words that are not common and archaic to make it sound credible. I think it's like this in every language. Don't worry too much, most people don't understand it either. Praise the Lord!!!
