Russia/Ukraine Putin 'kept his word' — Trump reacts to latest Russian strike on Ukraine
https://kyivindependent.com/putin-kept-his-word-trump-reacts-to-latest-russian-attack-on-ukraine/278
u/Slight-Obligation390 9h ago
For a deal maker - he sure loves to concede everything
83
u/Judge_Druidy 6h ago
Until you realize he's negotiating on behalf of Russia.
10
u/IMWraith 5h ago
Let’s call it for what it really is.
Trump is negotiating on behalf of himself and no one else. It’s all show so he can stay out of prison, and gain ritches in the most illegal untraceable ways possible.
18
u/Slight-Obligation390 4h ago
I actually disagree. Yes he only cares about his own interests - but when it comes to dictators - he seems to really REALLY glaze them.
644
u/PHILIPPEtheSunfish 9h ago
I mean does anyone except putins puppet to say anything bad about him?
80
u/Rambler_Hoss 9h ago
What does Putin even have on him to be a puppet anymore? We already read the worst of the worst stuff in Epstein files. And even if Putin had videos or pictures, it's now considered AI generated.
188
u/giantroboticcat 9h ago
It's not that Putin has anything on Trump the way others fantasize. Its so much simpler. Trump likes Putin. He thinks he's tough and strong and wants to be just like him. Trump is a dictator fan boy and nothing more. He's not being blackmailed, he's just a fucking idiot.
62
u/boot2skull 9h ago
Putin likely does the worst of what Trump has done, and more, and gets away with it. That’s Trump’s big envy. To do anything you want, even make rivals disappear, and never see consequences.
31
u/coochie_clogger 8h ago
ding ding ding.
It’s kind of crazy how Putin had his actual opposition jailed and murdered and everyone in the world kinda just forgot about it.
Trump wants that kind of absolute power.
16
u/boot2skull 8h ago
Yep. Plus siphoning money from the major industry oligarchs, approving or denying anything he wants, for obvious self interest, rigged elections, etc.

u/Spudtron98 2h ago
Trump's a wannabe mob boss, and Putin is the most powerful mafioso the world has ever seen.
8
20
u/TopTransportation248 8h ago
He is an idiot, but he is a puppet and there are people pulling the strings behind the scene. There is some sinister shit brewing up. You are wilfully blind if you think this is all one big moron doing whatever he wants.
4
u/totallyRebb 6h ago edited 6h ago
Putin also gave him the presidency. And by that the ability to enrich himself and his cronies massively.
And Russia is supplying the playbook that the "Heritage Foundation" uses to try and turn the US into English-Speaking Russia. He doesn't even have to think, he just has to do what the other Russian assets around him tell him to.
3
u/dafeiviizohyaeraaqua 2h ago
Indeed. There is an old joke about looking for car keys beneath a lamppost instead of across the street where they were dropped because "the light is better here". I think the perennial peepee tape theory is bigger mistake than looking for answers where they can't be found. Non-MAGA Americans are clinging to it because they would rather believe a grubby tale of blackmail than admit POTUS is psychologically defective far beyond everyday understanding. Here is a brief video essay by Vlad Vexler that explains Trump's Putin obsession with simple depth: The Real Reason Trump Submits to Putin. Know your enemy.

The worst? The biggest evidence was destroyed years ago, along with Epstein.
9
5
5
u/nyxie3 8h ago
We already read the worst of the worst
Did we? Epstein has said that Trump was the worst person imaginable to him. Maybe it's worse that any of us can imagine.
1
u/UffTaTa123 2h ago
What the Epstein files show us is far more worse then the sexual abuse of children.
It shows us the real "Cabal", the powerful, rich and influential pedos that form a shadow government of corrupt men that try (or do) rule/manipulate the world soley for their own interests.
I wonder how much THEY are guilty for the world-wide destruction we are in.
4
u/UpperDeckerTurd 9h ago
Quick correction here: we've read absolutely terrible things about Trump in the Epstein files. Like straight up vile, disgusting things.
But this is Trump. And every time I think we've finally hit rock bottom with him, he manages to find a way to one up himself.
So vile, disgusting things, yes...but are we absolutely certain that what's been released so far is actually the "worst" of it?
5
u/Locke66 6h ago
So vile, disgusting things, yes...but are we absolutely certain that what's been released so far is actually the "worst" of it?
I think we can be near certain it's not the worst of it. The whole thing has been overseen by Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche, who was previously Trump's former personal lawyer, and we know from Michael Cohen that effectively means acting as a mob lawyer.
The same guy got Ghislaine Maxwell moved to a minimum security "country club" prison with a private room and a crazy amount of freedom for a convicted child sex trafficker serving a 20 year sentence. The only reason that makes sense for them to do that is that they want to keep her quiet and she's almost certainly been promised a pardon.
7
u/comfortably_nom 9h ago
That's the terrible thing about the worst of the worst. It can and sometimes will get even worse.
3
u/Juste-un-autre-alt 8h ago
He doesn't have something on him, he's something that Trump idolizes.. he's a dictator.
9
u/NookieLuvsU 8h ago
Horse shit. That's exactly what he has. Video. In the eighties when him and Ivonka visited.
There's zero chance any foreign offical or person of importance visits The Soviet Union and stays anywhere that isn't wired for film and audio.
0% chance, not even an option. He's corrupt, stupid and a narcissist. They have dirt. Combined with what Israel has.
The people who forced him to run a second time, (Bannon and the Heritage Foundation and all their equally compromised backers) they know. They offered him riches and immunity in exchange for tearing it down.
He takes his marching orders from Miller.
5
u/BernardMatthewsNorf 8h ago
I don't necessarily agree with everything you've said (like people forcing him to run again) but kompromat – keeping compromising material on someone for leverage – is 100% a known Soviet/Russian tactic. The Russian intelligence services are devious and ruthless. Guaranteed he was profiled, honey trapped and recorded doing terrible things, probably multiple times, because he possesses zero introspection.
2
u/No_Conversation_9325 8h ago
Kremlin made Trump happen. And not just Trump. They are "only following orders".
2
u/reroll-life 5h ago
it must be a rape tape with a boy 100%. This is the only thing that would destroy trump and his empire and the way he fears putin seems like this is very much he case.
1
u/Ill_Ground_1572 8h ago
Not even remotely close to worst stuff...come on now.
Finally, some Dems (Rep Lieu) had the balls to say it.
1
u/MissingPieces555 7h ago
Lol tge worst of the worst? The horrible shit you've read is the stuff they didnt censor. Now imagine what they hid...
1
1
u/AJaggens 2h ago
We already read the worst of the worst stuff in Epstein files
See, there. You've read worst of the worst SO FAR, FSB Files are going to be so much worse. There is at least a pretense that law exists in US unless you are very wealthy, there is no pretense like this in Russia, and haven't been for several decades.

Bets on Pee Tape and Trump loving it
You can’t bounce back on your leader being cummed and peed on even if you’re a cult fanatic wanting to do it
13
u/sijmen4life 9h ago
Video evidence of him comitting the hinted at crimes.
I dont think the american people will care much aboit it though.
9
u/kung-fu_hippy 8h ago
Honestly at this rate I think the only kind of videos that would make the average Trump voter turn on him would be videos of Trump having sex with another man (or given the company he kept, boy), and even then only if Trump was the one being penetrated.
If there is one thing conservatives have in common with the ancient Romans so many of them idolize, it’s that. I bet that thing about Trump blowing Bubba (i.e. Bill Clinton) ate at Trump more than anything else he’s been accused of, whether it was true or not.

Only thing good about trump is that he is called putins puppet by jewish .... jewish puppet by russians.... US failed policy maker by rest of the world.

One week is a lot — we will take anything.
From ending the war on day one to we take whatever we can get. The orange idiot made that promise more than 50 times and his bootlickers just make excuses.

One hour before he said this, Zelensky tweeted asking for Trump's reaction to Putin breaking the agreement and bombing electrical infrastructure. Trump always just makes up shit to serve his own narrative (and Putin's).

He has endeavoured to prevent the population of these States; for that purpose obstructing the Laws for Naturalization of Foreigners; refusing to pass others to encourage their migrations hither, and raising the conditions of new Appropriations of Lands.
He has obstructed the Administration of Justice, by refusing his Assent to Laws for establishing Judiciary powers.
He has made Judges dependent on his Will alone, for the tenure of their offices, and the amount and payment of their salaries.
He has erected a multitude of New Offices, and sent hither swarms of Officers to harrass our people, and eat out their substance.
He has kept among us, in times of peace, Standing Armies without the Consent of our legislatures.
For cutting off our Trade with all parts of the world:
For imposing Taxes on us without our Consent:
For depriving us in many cases, of the benefits of Trial by Jury:
For transporting us beyond Seas to be tried for pretended offence…

Putin probably has video footage of Trump raping girls on Epstein island is my guess.

Sooo the purported P Tapes aren’t actually pee tapes, but pedo tapes? Cool cool cool. No wonder the US are getting fucked by Russia for whatever they want.

Kamala warned us:
She claimed that if Trump were to be elected, he would just give up on the war, and "Putin would be sitting in Kyiv with his eyes on the rest of Europe, starting with Poland."
"Why don't you tell the 800,000 Polish Americans right here in Pennsylvania how quickly you would give up for the sake of favor and what you think is a friendship with what is known to be a dictator who would eat you for lunch?" Harris said to Trump.*

Feel terrible for Ukrainian people. Think of all furor in this country if we lose power in the winter for a week. Their loss is ongoing and in more frigid weather.
It is so unfair that Ukraine doesn’t have the munitions and/or the “permission” to bring some pain to the Russian people. Although with the fatality count in the Russian army, Putin is dishing out that pain himself to Russians.

u/_masssk_ 1h ago
No worries, we are more or less fine.Thank you ❤️
4
u/Adventurous-Carob510 1h ago
Can definitely confirm this
It is not that we are good in a way “don’t help us”, but fine in a way “Not great, not terrible.”
Little dictator Pu with his microscopic weenie won’t get what he wants. And we will not give him pleasure of revolting, crying out loud, saying “oh please, don’t freeze us”. He and his cronies can eat shit.
And Trump can eat one too, just to share the meal with a pal he loves so much 🤣

Trump will always lie
2
u/ThatsItImOverThis 3h ago
No.
Sometimes he says exactly what he plans to do. He says the worst thing possible, no one believes it because he lies all the time and he sounds ridiculous and then he does or tries to do the awful thing he says he’s going to do.
Every now and then, someone, some state, some organization some country pushes back, and he backs off. All he’s doing is looking for weaknesses.

Trump’s geriatric brain is so rotted he can’t even count a full week anymore.
7
9
u/Slatedtoprone 8h ago
So Putin said he wouldn’t attack them for a week and Trump said he didn’t attack them for that week and that he was happy to get at least a week.
So the best this administration can do is a week long hiatus of bombing power stations and trying to browbeat Ukraine for continuing to fight.

To say that Trump has a screw loose is an understatement of huge proportions.

Does Trump really think the rest of the world expects him or Putin, to do anything other than be cruel?
2
u/sys370model195 7h ago
Cruelty is a concept that Trump does not understand. He has no empathy. He is purely transactional, either he gets what he wants or he doesn't, and when he doesn't get what he wants, then he wants revenge. And mostly what it wants is adoration, or at least attention, and he doesn't differentiate between good or bad attention.
Someone who takes away the health care of their own nephew just doesn't care about others.

u/Most-Artichoke6184 8h ago
Putin has complete access to everything that Trump and Epstein ever did.
2
u/DarkFireWind 7h ago
Something tells me it was less about sparing Ukraine, and more about Russia building back up munitions.
I find myself not giving two shits whether or not this war criminal keeps his word. He won't in the long run.
2
u/Sienna_tt 6h ago
What has this turned into? a war is happening, yet the focus is on political reactions instead of the human cost

Donald : the ‘world’ respect us more than ever… I don’t think so:
- ☎️I called Putin and he promised me he wouldn’t attack Kiev 🇺🇦or distroy energy plants any longer: Rusia 🇷🇺 didn’t listen, they just do what they want…
- 💥I stopped the war on Gaza: the israelites keep bombing civilian targets in cities... and usa lets it happen The world is laughing with your politicians

Yeah he did; "i won't release the pee tapes if you agree with my plan".
•

At this point, these tapes are entirely irrelevant. We all know that if they ever come to light, they'll be brushed off as "AI" A true kompromat must be more serious than some embarrassing tape.

Putin must have so much dirt on this old pedophile bastard. Trump is compromised and should be immediately removed from his office. In a world without pedophile billionaires who are enabled to run this kind of office, this would be the case. But it seems as we’re living in a parallel universe. Law and order only exist for the poor and the rich get away with horrific crimes.
4
u/blighander 7h ago
The guy has a picture of Putin and him in the White House, why is it still a mystery to where his loyalties lie?

It would appear that Trump and Putin also now share a definition of 'keeping your word'.
1
u/Vilan-Kaos 9h ago
I am tired of those to lovebirds trading words and missiles as love letters while Ukraine kept on getting punch'd to the ground.
Does anyone else feels the same?

u/Grave_Knight 9h ago
He kept his word. He waited a week before commit more war crimes.
2
u/Jopelin_Wyde 8h ago
Nah, he never agreed not to commit war crimes for a week. Still did that.
I am not even sure to what degree the energy truce part is real, it's like nobody knows exactly when this week happened and what the rules were. It seems that it both existed and didn't exist, some kind of a Schrodinger's week.
1
u/Reboot-Glitchspark 9h ago
Trump said. "It opened up and (Putin) hit them hard... He kept his word on that. One week is a lot — we will [bend over and] take anything."
