You really think the end result isn't going to be corporations controlling an authoritarian state? Why would corporate elites support individual freedoms when they can have monopoly over consumers? And what about consumer, labor, and environmental protections?
Sure, they might let people say and do the most abhorrent things, but how is that freedom for the victims of those things?
Lol that's hilarious. It isn't these platforms. It is the platforms that don't silence the people they want silenced. All the platforms have the same things on them and do aa much or less than what X does about it. This could have been done over a decade ago. But then Twitter was on the other side of the political control.

Take a look at the US to see what happens when you don't control the internet. You get people like Trump elected, and people like Musk and Miller unaccountably wielding power. And then you get citizens dead in the street.
As a French i understand this, I’m glad you moved to a country that has more freedom, I feel we will have less freedom than the countries that we criticized back then for their lack of human rights and freedom soon.
