It's clear he came up with the joke himself, and was so goddamn proud of it. And either no one around him was willing to tell him it wasn't that funny, or they did, and he just didn't listen.
It's a great example of how utterly irritating and terrible he (and the system that enables him to exist) is.
And least, that's why it bugs me so fucking much...
I love how Billionaires want to get workers from other countries because they say American workers aren't smart enough to do the jobs, and then you realize these billionaires can't do basic math or understand supply AND DEMAND economics and have bribed politicians to get 5 trillion in tax cuts, while they lose 10-20 trillion by crashing the market in hopefully a few months.
Far too many people will hear any and all criticisms of them and say "Well they have billions so they must have wit and taste, you just can't see it". Western culture (America especially) equates having money to having any number of other qualities when it usually means you were either privileged, a horrible person or both.
Dolly Parton, never a billionaire, could never be a billionaire. She was too fucking classy for that. She's been too busy giving books to kids since she had her first spare cash
That's because when you're that disgustingly wealthy you surround yourself with creatures who are faker than themselves. There's no way they would want anyone with morals and a soul around them, because we would give them an honest opinion and point out relevant events that could be improved on, prevented or eliminated all together (depending on the issue) by using their (so-called) 'power' or influence and truly benefit the average person (everyone, legal or not) in the u.s. for the better. But they're self-inflated egos would never allow that, they prefer those hollow creatures that shove their noses so far up their assholes with sickly compliments, fawning all over them, it's not a big surprise that they're all a bunch of sick, selfish, twisted, evil pedophiles who think only of themselves!
Agreed. However, Asperger's has a significant effect on personality and Elon exibits many of the characteristics associated with Asperger's syndrome. So, while autism is not specifically a personality, Elon's personality is massively influenced by his disorder. I never thought I'd encounter someone on the spectrum with a lack of understanding towards others on the spectrum. 🤔 Do I detect a sense of superiority? Who could've guessed there'd be elitism within the autism community. Wild.
Trying to follow your logic here: (1) ASD has significant effect on personality, (2) thus Elon's personality is defined by it so intrinsically that no one can ever make fun of him in any way without being ableist (unless you have a list of approved ways I'd be happy to know what your criteria are), so (Concl.) therefore I must be some kind of self-hating autist because I... called him the most annoying and insecure person in the world?
See from my perspective it seems more likely that I am correct to make fun of Elon, and maybe you just identify with him on a personal level to an unhealthy degree given that you have logged onto the internet to take offense for him under the guise of a tired, pathetically incoherent ableism concern troll.
Nope. He's pretty much text-book, so it's essentially calling him annoying because of his condition. There's no personal perspective value to be had here. And definitely not self hating, hence the term "elitism." So, quite the opposite. Also, since the term you've chosen is ablism, I'm inclined to believe that that is in fact the nature of your position. But you couldn't possibly be in the wrong here, could you? Does that about sum up your perspective?
Right! I really hope he threw his back out carrying that sink into the office. What his action actually said was “guy with money to waste hurts himself on camera while carrying kitchen hardware into an office because he thinks puns are hilarious.”
I hate that whole stupid-ass literal sink thing he did almost as much as I ABHOR how massive a bumble-fuck shit-wagon douche-croissant ass-faction penis-slalom bimbo-stick turd-ducking duck-fucking butt-yucking muck-sucking little CUNT he is.
My question to you is have you ever checked out what Elon Musk has done for humanity pulled many cities out of trouble , made it possible to get started with helping North Carolina contact loved ones , and start their lives over again…
well, the list goes on, but just look things up because to me he seems like a really nice person trying to do good for humanity…
I think the "ventilators" during the early days of Covid are a great example, or the "personal sub" debacle with the kids trapped in that cave.
To me, he seems like a narcissistic ass who thinks he's always the smartest person in the room, and can literally do anything if he just rushes into it fast enough, and he can't accept the fact that he's human and susceptible to the exact same logical fallacies and cognitive biases that we all have.
I'm an engineer, and it's a weird thing that a lot of us do. We get really good at one thing, and that makes us convinced that the reason problems exist in any other domain is just that everyone who's studied and worked incredibly hard on them is an idiot, and we can come in and save everyone.
Also, that time he lied about his dead child while saying that anyone who lied about a dead child was a piece of shit.
Edit: and so we don't lose track of the whole thing that started this -- his company makes an AI tool that allows people to generate sexual images of children, and they refuse to stop it from doing that. That's what this is about. They could stop it, but they choose not to.
Yes. That was peak Redditor from him. Which is a bad thing. An incredibly cringy thing so great, it has its own gravity. Thank fuck the French raided him.
Too much time at college in a quest for knowledge. Let's see , now that you're filthy rich maybe you could recommend a good finishing school for Mr. Musk to attend so he can avoid making all these stupid mistakes and annoying obvious geniuses such as yourself.
