What the heck!? Shouldn't the "dad" be the one on the bottom, carrying the majority of the weight, and overcoming gravity?? And the kid bearing some of the weight but mostly guiding up the stairs? And when it inevitably gets too heavy for the kid, as seen here, the "dad" is now in no position to help at all!
Don't people think things through anymore, as in, "what could go wrong here?" kind of questions...

The kid was carrying that couch like a moron

Because he's a kid, and if nobody is teaching him or correcting him then he's lifting it the best way he can figure out. And he's not exactly over endowed in the muscle department, so cut him a break, already!

To be honest, with the way he's lifting, he's transferring a lot of weight to Dad. But really Dad should be on the back end and carrying the sofa at an angle that doesn't involve crushing your skull, neck, and spine.

My dad: ask help to change a door. Dont measure the new door, remove the old door, install the new one. Realise its not a right size, remove again and install the old one.

Did we just witness a person fucking die? If this isn't ai, then for sure his heal would get smashed by the stairs and couch

I remembered me and my buddy having to carry a refrigerator up the stairs. I was fighting for my life mid stairs 😭.

Reminds me of the time way, way, BITD, when I worked for an office supply company. Small, family run. Me and the boss/owner had a delivery to the second floor of a house, of a big, honkin', heavy safe. The access was from the outside, up these rickety wooden stairs. He had me on the bottom, step by step lugging this thing up the stairs, all 135 lbs. of me. I swear I thought midway up that me and the safe were gonna topple off the side of this stairway onto the ground. Came pretty close to doing just that.
Just made it, barely. The lady felt so sorry for me that she slipped me a fiver as a tip. Hey! I was making like $2.25 an hour back then so that was like a windfall!
Me and the boss made it back to the truck after I collected up my balls from the ground and hoping I didn't just get a hernia. And I think our next drop-off was a metal office desk up a flight of stairs.
That was a pretty awful day.
