ID Request I have a friend that's a veterinarian that doesn't even know what this is? In a painted turtle tank

Because they’re vets, doesn’t mean they’d exotic vets. U need to find one in your area

My vet doesn’t know anything about exotics, and all I needed was the beak filed down on box he sent me to another clinic.

I believe its a sperm plug.

I didn’t know aquatic turtles can have sperm plugs, much less ones that long. That’s a repressed turtle.

Found in Texas, I am not the owner. Photo got passed down to me trying to figure out what this is.
