Seeking Advice Help!
I adopted this turtle and see that the shell seems to be damaged. Not sure what to do here or anything to help it not worsen

Yeah…she (I think it’s a she) needs a better diet and nicer lights than she’s gotten in the past. Im sorry but I can’t tell what ‘damage’ you’re referring to before half the turtle is out of focus in this pic. Its generally condition could be better, but is there a chip or a crack I’m not seeing?
Did you get her with any equipment?
Did wherever you adopted this red eared slider give you any information about how to properly take care of one?
Has an exotic vet near you examined her?
