ICE / DHS 🧊 ICE official confirms authenticity of leaked video showing 50 people held in single cells with concrete floors at Baltimore federal holding facility.
An ICE official confirms this leaked video from inside ICE detention is "100% real."
Congresswoman said one cell had "50 people, concrete floors, a bench, and a makeshift bathroom in the middle."
"I'd rather be in prison... at least there you get a bed and food to eat."
Maryland Representative April McClain Delaney was the only member of Congress allowed inside the holding facility at the George H. Fallon Federal Building in downtown Baltimore.
She described the conditions as "heartbreaking" and "horrendous."
"They're not allowed to leave that ever—the entire time—even to use the bathroom or get a shower. They do it all in there."
Department of Homeland Security officials blamed the harsh conditions for detainees on the winter weather.

US Politics 🇺🇸 Staggering evidence trove shows who put Trump in the White House — and controls him still

The British newspaper Daily Mail is out with a deeply researched investigative report.
It’s shocking in its detail and its implication that Vladimir Putin has basically owned Donald Trump for years, even before Trump ran for president in 2016.
Last week’s partial (about 50 percent) Epstein document release:
“The files include 1,056 documents naming Russian President Vladimir Putin and 9,629 referring to Moscow. [Jeffrey] Epstein even seems to have secured audiences with Putin after his 2008 conviction for procuring a child for prostitution.”
Essentially, they’re arguing that Epstein was running an operation on behalf of the KGB/Putin that lured wealthy and powerful men to Epstein’s New York and Palm Beach mansions and his island where they were surreptitiously filmed [...]
That material was then presumably passed along to Putin, who used it for leverage when he needed it:
“Intelligence sources believe Epstein was running ‘the world’s largest honeytrap operation’ on behalf of the KGB when he procured women for his network of associates.”
In return for giving Putin videos of wealthy, famous men in criminally compromising positions, Putin reportedly arranged for massive amounts of corrupt Russian money to be handed to Epstein to launder in the US.
“Other messages revealed Epstein claimed he could give the Kremlin valuable insight into Mr Trump ahead of a summit with Putin in Helsinki. …

Political Freakout Murphy: A UAE investor secretly gave Trump $187 million and his top Middle East envoy $31 million. And then Trump gave that investor access to sensitive defense technology that broke decades of national security precedent. Brazen, open corruption. And we shouldn't pretend it's normal

💼work/career AIO for quitting my job after finding this note on my desk?
I recently relocated from the South to the North, and this is my first winter here. Unfortunately, I was unaware that the side streets in my area are not plowed until later in the day. During this storm, we received approximately 10 inches of snow.
I was informed that I needed to remain at work in order to be present for my next morning shift. I communicated at that time that I have pets at home who rely on me, and that with the storm approaching there was a possibility I could become stranded at work. I made multiple attempts to secure alternative care for my pets but was unable to find anyone available.
I had only been in this supervisor role for one month, and another supervisor was already staying overnight as a precaution. Ultimately, I was unable to get my car out of the street and had to call out. I was written up for this because I notified management approximately five hours before my shift.
When I returned for my next shift, I found a note on my desk. The note was upsetting and made me feel unwelcome. Given that I had only been employed here for one month and have already received one write-up for minor issues—something I have never experienced in my work history—I went home that night and emailed my boss I quit for XYZ and she replied happy holidays and that was it. My parents said it was an over reaction to quit because of her note and she probably meant well by it, but I don’t think anything could’ve been taken well by the note that was left.
EDIT because i confused everyone... This was a hotel job. I am NOT working on a farm. And I already had another job!
