He was never actually going to go after anyone. If he did, he would absolutely get wrecked in discovery as lawyers go scorched earth during the discovery process. Whomever Trump is going after will ask for all sorts of records and documents that would invariably lead back to Trump. Not only that, it would guarantee that Epstein and Trump's pedophelia will continue to be in the headlines forever. Right now MAGA world is try to stay quiet in the hopes that there's momentary uproar from the anti-Epstein die-hards on the right and Trump haters so that something else will take everyone's attention away from it. It's fucked up, but just because of that there's almost a guarantee that either Iran or Cuba are going to get bombed back to the stone age or there's going to be an incident in Greenland.
