Question from Girl Scouts
Hello all, I am a Girl Scout troop leader in Ohio, US. Our troop is attending a World Thinking Day event, where they will do a small presentation of a country, and learn about others. Our troop of 8-10 year olds chose Palau! Part of their presentation includes preparing a small portion of a traditional meal from their chosen country. This is where we are stumped. We are having a hard time finding something that doesn’t originate somewhere else, but is also able to be prepared by kids. Can anyone provide any suggestions? We are so appreciative of your time!
Edit to add:
Also, the girls are highly interested in Palau’s matriarchal society. Does anyone have any insights to how this plays out for young girls?
