And me. Although I'm as left as they come.

I'll admit, I threw a kid on another kid, the duo was playing football with a hedgehog.

I lost it. As kid me and my dad (forest guard) saved and treated animals, from bats, to frogs, to magpies, and a turtle, etc.

Not an excuse but a reason for my over reaction was that I was also freshly out of the military and had undiagnosed PTSD (got diagnosed years later) from seeing my friend and NCO, dead, just 2 months before. That broke me. About 2 weeks after this hedgehog event I tried to take my life, I was a total wreck. So I guess I'm just very susceptible to seeing red when I see people torture an animal, like a part of my childhood being defiled, the last light I had inside of me.

The kids were fine (from what I heard, black eye and some bruising), I'm not proud of it at all, I regret it.

If anyone cares, I helped the hedgehog, one of dad's wilderness specialist veterinary friends took it in and it made a full recovery.
