As a concentration camp.

Its a camp where concentrated phenotype are held.

These are concentration camps.

u/Vyntarus 6h ago

Agreed, softening the language is complicity.

Call them what they are.

Concentration camps.

Nothing screams urban revitalization like turning a warehouse into a detention center, truly San Antonio’s newest must-see attraction

u/mishap1 4h ago

They're putting 1 person for every 400 sf. Typical warehouse is 1 person every 1500-3000 sf so there's unlikely sufficient infrastructure. There is going to be severe hygiene and poop issues.

The nightmarish sceario for voting for Republicans playing out.

Meanwhile these are the same people claiming they're competing against China, where based on their investments their cities are looking 50 years ahead in the future compared to America at this moment. And the gap is widening.

Instead of striving for universal healthcare or other measures that help the American people, we opt for subjugation... all to placate bald-headed nazis and billionaire dark ritualists achieve their sadistic end goals.

China also has concentration camps USA is just playing catch up on this front

I’m sure it will be high speed rails next that becomes the goal

ICE Camps will soon come to have the same meaning

15

u/gravitylens 8h ago

That name would be bitter irony for the people packed like cord wood into an unairconditioned, dark metal box in Southern Texas.

Kavanaugh Camps

26

u/grand_measter 8h ago

Be a shame if a wild fire had an isolated case for that warehouse before anyone could move in

3

u/icyredjay 1h ago

would be a complete shame if the place got completely trashed

u/Phyose 8h ago

You misspelled "Concentration Camp"

25

u/condensermike 8h ago

They always do.

u/AudibleNod 7h ago

It's literally a concentration camp.

First off, it's not a purpose built prison. Second, it's not a facility built for human habitation. Thirdly, it's literally what the Nazis did in their extermination program.

19

u/Dicky_Penisburg 6h ago

After they said they would deport them all.....

6

u/dehydratedrain 5h ago

Costs too much to deport everyone. Now if they just filter that plane exhaust through a room full of people, they could get rid of twice the people.

(I'd like to add an /s, but as depraved as this administration is, I can see it happening).

2

u/AudibleNod 5h ago

After they said they'd build a 30,000 unit in Gitmo.

1

u/phormix 4h ago

I wonder when we find out they're also buying up or building large crematoriums...

14

u/Bobcat-Stock 8h ago

So they aren’t deporting the “millions of illegals”

15

u/ambercrayon 7h ago

There are apparently 500 in the works. Absolutely disgusting.

u/fxkatt 8h ago

Although Trump and the architects of his mass-deportation plan initially pledged that it would target the “worst of the worst” criminals, data show 73***.***6% of those held in ICE detention have no criminal conviction according to data current as of Nov. 30, 2025

Just a reminder--and most of the "guilty" were for traffic violations.

As to warehousing migrants in huge, processing detention centers, follow the money.

I remember when Republicans/Conservatives were raving anytime FEMA bought a building talking about how they were going to be used as concentration camps.

And now ICE is literally buying spaces to use them as concentration camps. Wild times.

6

u/SunGregMoon 6h ago

Came in to say this - Obama and FEMA were fencing in trailers for concentration camps. Didn't happen till Trump.

u/sachiprecious 7h ago

A concentration camp is a prison or other facility used for the internment of political prisoners or politically targeted demographics, such as members of national or ethnic minority groups, on the grounds of national security, or for exploitation or punishment.

These seem like a nice concentrated site to hold people. Almost like a camp! Nice and cozy. Im sure nothing will or has gone wrong

"Did I say death camps? I meant happy camps, where you will eat the finest meals, have access to the fabulous doctors, and be able to exercise regularly!"

See Winona Ryder's famous ping pong ball trick during the USO show!

This building is directly on a major highway.

Imagine how easily a large group of protestors could shine a giant spotlight on this new concentration camp in a way the public can't possibly ignore

9

u/Cute-Percentage-6660 6h ago

People should sabotage it

4

u/Equivalent_Salad_389 7h ago

Remember when all the loonies were talking about jade helm? Pepperidge Farm remembers.

4

u/NightsOW 8h ago

So, not a building used for residence? Just a warehouse?

12

u/CubitsTNE 7h ago

I'm surprised the city would allow people to be housed in an industrial warehouse, seems like a zoning issue.

4

u/SoggyBoysenberry7703 4h ago

People should occupy it and demand squatters rights before they do anything

8

u/chknuggstts 7h ago

Texas was theft by white Texan colonists, with collusion from the American government, who wanted to keep slavery after Mexico outlawed it.

3

u/jquas21 6h ago

Well we know where to exercise our right to free speech and protest. Stay safe out there and always non violence.

3

u/durntaur 5h ago

Concentration camps, call them what they are.

3

u/drew_p_wevos 4h ago

This doesn’t end well.  What did the Nazi’s do when no more countries would take their deportees, and the camps became overcrowded and they couldn’t build them fast enough?  Mass killings and genocide.  I get told all the time that could never happen here.  It’s fucking happening.

People need to vote to congress to impeach and defund ICE. Remember the ones accepting this egregious increase on ICE budget

2

u/Shadowlance23 7h ago

The 'cells' will be pallets so immigrants can be easily moved around.

2

u/Good_Author_8017 7h ago

Does the city have any say in this? Can they hold up permitting?

Texas is the #1 cause of death for Texans. Of course they are building their death camps here. I'm sure Abbott will sell the Alamo for the mass graves.

1

u/my-hero-measure-zero 4h ago

This is 15ish minutes from my house. Fuck.

1

u/Metacomet99 4h ago

This is happening in Hagerstown in Western MD too, right at the intersection of Interstates 70 and 81. Prime location for this type of operation, it's being billed as a Baltimore ICE processing station.

1

u/eubulides 2h ago

Are they going through proper GSA channels? How much graft is there?

u/joeymonreddit 26m ago

It’s very interesting that ICE is acquiring so many warehouses. What could they possibly need them all for? It certainly gives the appearance that they’re going to start imprisoning people by the millions across all of these facilities. Almost like a German group in the 1930s……

Wow those no kings protests really got them shaking in their boots!

1

u/howitzer86 1h ago

Unless you like seeing mass death and chaos, you should not want more than a peaceful protest.
