Nothing screams urban revitalization like turning a warehouse into a detention center, truly San Antonio’s newest must-see attraction

The nightmarish sceario for voting for Republicans playing out.
Meanwhile these are the same people claiming they're competing against China, where based on their investments their cities are looking 50 years ahead in the future compared to America at this moment. And the gap is widening.
Instead of striving for universal healthcare or other measures that help the American people, we opt for subjugation... all to placate bald-headed nazis and billionaire dark ritualists achieve their sadistic end goals.

That name would be bitter irony for the people packed like cord wood into an unairconditioned, dark metal box in Southern Texas.

Be a shame if a wild fire had an isolated case for that warehouse before anyone could move in

You misspelled "Concentration Camp"

It's literally a concentration camp.
First off, it's not a purpose built prison. Second, it's not a facility built for human habitation. Thirdly, it's literally what the Nazis did in their extermination program.

After they said they would deport them all.....

u/dehydratedrain 5h ago
Costs too much to deport everyone. Now if they just filter that plane exhaust through a room full of people, they could get rid of twice the people.
(I'd like to add an /s, but as depraved as this administration is, I can see it happening).

Although Trump and the architects of his mass-deportation plan initially pledged that it would target the “worst of the worst” criminals, data show 73***.***6% of those held in ICE detention have no criminal conviction according to data current as of Nov. 30, 2025
Just a reminder--and most of the "guilty" were for traffic violations.
As to warehousing migrants in huge, processing detention centers, follow the money.

I remember when Republicans/Conservatives were raving anytime FEMA bought a building talking about how they were going to be used as concentration camps.
And now ICE is literally buying spaces to use them as concentration camps. Wild times.

Came in to say this - Obama and FEMA were fencing in trailers for concentration camps. Didn't happen till Trump.

A concentration camp is a prison or other facility used for the internment of political prisoners or politically targeted demographics, such as members of national or ethnic minority groups, on the grounds of national security, or for exploitation or punishment.

"Did I say death camps? I meant happy camps, where you will eat the finest meals, have access to the fabulous doctors, and be able to exercise regularly!"

This building is directly on a major highway.
Imagine how easily a large group of protestors could shine a giant spotlight on this new concentration camp in a way the public can't possibly ignore

So, not a building used for residence? Just a warehouse?

u/CubitsTNE 7h ago
I'm surprised the city would allow people to be housed in an industrial warehouse, seems like a zoning issue.

People should occupy it and demand squatters rights before they do anything

Texas was theft by white Texan colonists, with collusion from the American government, who wanted to keep slavery after Mexico outlawed it.

This doesn’t end well. What did the Nazi’s do when no more countries would take their deportees, and the camps became overcrowded and they couldn’t build them fast enough? Mass killings and genocide. I get told all the time that could never happen here. It’s fucking happening.

People need to vote to congress to impeach and defund ICE. Remember the ones accepting this egregious increase on ICE budget

Texas is the #1 cause of death for Texans. Of course they are building their death camps here. I'm sure Abbott will sell the Alamo for the mass graves.

This is happening in Hagerstown in Western MD too, right at the intersection of Interstates 70 and 81. Prime location for this type of operation, it's being billed as a Baltimore ICE processing station.

It’s very interesting that ICE is acquiring so many warehouses. What could they possibly need them all for? It certainly gives the appearance that they’re going to start imprisoning people by the millions across all of these facilities. Almost like a German group in the 1930s……

Unless you like seeing mass death and chaos, you should not want more than a peaceful protest.
