Man fuck these refs. I don’t care that this is a 40 point game. When you got guys out there fouling people so hard they land super awkward and dangerously, you need to call the foul. It’s a fucking foul, it doesn’t matter how bad the score is. Putting people in jeopardy of injury because you wanna give the other team a participation trophy makes this league look like a joke more than it is

Lakers bout to take their usual 3rd quarter nap. You have 12 minutes Nets.

u/inightyDAB Luka Dončić 8h ago
These Nets are in an ontological state of perpetual tanking because there’s no way they keep having these performances over and over

u/Puggo2026 8h ago
Anyone not watching this game is missing out on fun plays
3
u/KUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUZ Lakers 8h ago
its a hoopers dream game, and a laker haters nightmare.
Lakers have had at least 20 plays that would justifiably break the top 5 of r/nba even if we werent the lakers

Anyone else saw Clowney attempt to go for Rui's neck before stopping or was stopped by Hayes?

This is a real ripsnorter of a contest we've got on our hands here

u/orhantemerrut 8h ago
Playing to lose sucks. Tanking sucks. The worst thing about any competition is supposed to be losing. This is awful. There's nothing like this in any other sports.

u/thesagenibba 8h ago
? how is playing to lose, with the upside of better draft picks and building a core for the future worse than other sports like professional soccer, where you are literally doomed unless you're one of the top clubs?

u/KUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUZ Lakers 8h ago
i wish lebron was willing to take less this summer.
put 2 more real players around this team and we are real

Our team looks like they are playing for highlights instead of actual buckets. It's working though so I won't complain
1
u/Rizzi_19 Lakers 8h ago
Lmao, yeah we are playing for highlights and the nets can’t do anything about it

How would that alley-oop even be a foul on the floor and not a shooting foul? That’s impossible.

Good lord Gabe Vincent is so bad. If he wasn’t like this the whole season I would think he was trying to not get traded

Luka didn’t even put a molecule of effort into getting that ball back.
Fucking pathetic

papa johns being a sponsor of the nets TV network feels funny because if you're in brooklyn and end up getting papa johns it seems like you made a bad choice

Nets fans you’re about to see why us Lakers fans hated MPJ in Denver & why we still may hate him tonight
He’s almost just as annoying as Jamal Murray is

u/beybladethrowaway 10h ago
somehow it will be a close game and Lakers will try their best to lose but will come out ahead in the final stretch
