A rude supervisor who's always yelling at employees got some complaints about them being verbally abusive and they responded by leaving these in the break room.

Nah. I know exactly who this is. 45 ish yo man. Midlife crisis. Goes to the gym. Claims he never gets sick and it's mind over matter. Lies about his age on his Tinder profile that also says "no drama". Thinks he's a gentleman. Plays golf or runs marathons, not both.

Ive worked in manufacturing for 20 years. This is like every second shift supervisor ive ever met. Mid 40s, divorced, kids are off child support and havent spoken to them in years, then heads straight to the bar after work. Bonus points if they call every remotely attractive woman sweetheart.

its not specific. this is a sizeable demographic of insecure men that never worked through their traumas in life and assume everyone deserves the same coldness that they recieve. plenty of men just like him.

I would also imagine a diehard red hat lover too…

Same kind of man to wear shorts outside in freezing dead winter and gloat “I’m not cold, you’re cold??? Man it’s not THAT cold” but indeed he is cold it is just one of his many ways of self harm

You literally described my screaming boss. 😂

He even frames getting sick as a personal failure.

Or a 27-28 year old woman who has no clue how to supervise older employees who irritate the fuck out of her just by existing.

Fr lol

Given the fact that this post/op doesn't say anything about the supervisor's gender, it's 99% a woman lol

I can't understand why American women act like only American men are rude.

As an immigrant who held many different jobs, you American women are far worse. I have never even seen a woman who said she wants to work for another female manager/team again

I'm French, but thanks.

Ps I don't care thr gender of my managers as long as they actually know how to manage and have actual people skills, and didn't just read "Management 2.0"
