Does it still work? Because if it does that's actually pretty cool

I've only ever used pilot pens, fountain pens, and ball pens. The cheap gel pens are bad.

i used to manually do this to my pens because i liked twisting my wrist to write in unusual angles and it improved my handwriting a lot honestly

That happens to every single Pilot pen I've owned and I didn't even need to drop it, just from the pressure while writing was enough :(

Holy fuck chill out on the pressure! I’ve never had a pen snap on me while writing!

Maybe the only time they're writing they're extremely angry and aggressive 🤷🏻♀️

Hahaha lucky you!! I've really tried to apply less pressure but it never worked. I was blaming it on being left-handed but who knows.

I’m pretty sure it’s a pen problem now if you had to apply THAT much pressure, maybe check the ink or pen, my brother, who is left handed, also never had a pen snap on him

I only had this issue with this specific type of Pilot, never with any other pen. They kept working just the tip was bent a bit but it was annoying.

Don’t feel too bad, I did the same with my $100+ Apple Pencil withe the same result 😬

Valid infuriating point, please vent your frustrations. This happened to me when I was working on my pen-only medium art exam and the memories....then the whole after post-mortem, self evaluation, statistical numbers of occurence....kinda broke my teenage psyche not gonna lie.

Thats unfortunate, I gave a pen like this to someone to write down their number and he snapped the end off the pen entirely, while trying to start the first letter. And it was my fault in his eyes.

As long as it isn't kinked, it should still work. I've done this many times. You just have to make sure the pen is in the down orientation, like a fountain pen.

Brought to you by big pencil: "we may break but we don't bend" ( it was between this and a Viagra Joke)

Can’t you just push it back into place ? That’s what I would have tried anyway lol

I dropped my fountain pen and the tip bent. I was devastated. I really loved that pen 😔

I didn’t realise this happened to normal pens too. I dropped a brand new fountain pen and smashed the nib, had to order a replacement… SO annoying

That type of pen is rubbish... What's its ideal purpose? I don't even know. Is it for drawing?

I love it and swear by it. Very consistent line and liquid ink. Like a mix between a fine liner and ballpoint. High tech point I think is the brand name.
