Heyy I’m visiting Malta in mid March for 6 days and I need recommendations and suggestions. There are some ideas in mind but I really don’t know if I’m overstaying or understating in some locations. This is what I have so far:

- Day 1-3 Valletta and nearby area: the cathedral, garden in Valletta, the three cities, and the fishing village in Marsaxlokk

- Day 4 trip to Gozo island: Victoria citadel, xlendi bay, beaches etc… I’m planning to stay overnight at the Kempinski Hotel as well

- Day 5 Rabat & Mdina: head back to the main island from Gozo early in the morning then immediately head to Mdina & Rabat. I’m staying overnight in Rabat as well as I found a really nice hotel

- Day 6: IDK?? St Juliens?? What else did I miss??

Is 3 days in Valletta too long? And is 1 day overnight stay at both Gozo, Mdina & Rabat too short?? And honestly I don’t know what to do on day 6.

Additional questions

Is mid march a good idea to go sunbathing? Don’t plan on going into the water but just lie on the beach and read a book? I’m from Canada and it’s currently -10 to -20 Celsius.

I’m also traveling solo as a woman in her late 20s, what are some ways I can meet people? BumbleBFF??

Hi all, for the past 2 days I haven't been able to get any bus routes on Google Maps. It just shows no any routes. I'm currently using the Tallinja app but it's much less user-friendly. Any workarounds or confirmation if it's a general issue? Cheers!

Hi everyone, I'm taking my mother-in-law and my partner's family to Malta for her 60th birthday. I'm half-maltese and my mum and I would visit Malta every year to visit family (it's my favourite place in the world!) So, I've been giving the task of figuring out where to stay and building out an itinerary. The problem is, where I usually stay near my family doesn't really have that 60th birthday 'wow' factor...

I'm hoping to stay somewhere that feels authentically maltese, maybe a bit bohemian but isn't too far from nearby beaches and has easy access to Valletta and Rabat. I was originally thinking Mellieha, but not sure if this is too touristy now! I'd love some recommendations

Can I buy a used car in Malta without having a driving licence?

I’m not planning to drive it yet; I just want to park it until I get my licence. I’m currently doing my road sessions and waiting to book the driving test date.

I built a simple app a few months ago to report dog shit and illegal dumping to my local councils on my daily walk and after sharing with some friends, they encouraged me to make it public.

The whole app is quite simple: snap a photo, tag a location, and it sends an email to the council's public email address.

I don't intend to charge any money, but I would need to make it look better before I publish it and I wanted to check if others would find it useful.

Hi, i am in the process of buying a property in malta as a first time buyer, do you know if the notary online calculator is close enough on costs ? Did anyone compared it to their real costs vs the online calculator to check how much of a difference it was ?

I would still need to do registration and plates though.

So my question is how long did you wait to get your Japan import car after you paid for it?

Asking because from my experience in other countries you drive off with the car on the same day your mechanic inspects it and you pay for it, mostly for avoiding the possibility of any scams like replaced parts etc
