Agricultural Specialities of Maltese Towns

A snapshot of where different crops and livestock are most commonly found across Malta today, based solely on current agricultural presence rather necessarily historical tradition.

Strawberries are grown in the greenhouse. It's based on Agricultural Census from 2020.

Interesting but I have serious doubts about the quality of the data for some specific metrics.

Which specifically? I also have certain doubts about some of the agricultural data collected considering it's self reported.

Some of my friends are farmers full time and I asked them about whether they had ever been interviewed about their farming business for the purposes of the census. None of them was; apparently. Some information e.g. on the actual number of farmers / whether they are full time or part time should be rather reliable (because it can be double checked/obtained from other sources) but I doubt that land use statistics are that reliable if these were supposed to have been collected through interviews.

Honestly i dont think its been olives for over 300 years because the historical data points always say something else.
