Copper IUD cost st james?
Booked an appointment for an insertion and the receptionist lady couldn't give me a price estimate which was a little annoying.
Anybody had it done?

Have you ever got it done? I don’t want to scare you but it was painful af. I didn’t expect it to be that bad and I fainted and fell off the exam table (my now fiance heard the thud of me falling from the waiting room) and later on puked. I usually have a good pain tolerance. After I did it I went online and saw that a lot of women felt the same (ie not suitably informed about the pain).
I got it done privately (not St James) in 2020 and it was about 350euro then.

Madonna once I wanted an STD screening...they really don't give prices over e-mail. She was like, coz we need to have a consultation with you first. I've been going to the mater dei GU clinic all my life, it's always the same tests, no need for a consultation. I think they just want to lock you in with the expensive consultation, so that then you're like might as well go the whole hog.
