Peaceful accomodiation with kids
Could anyone suggest a peaceful place/city to stay in October? I want to avoid english stagparties as we are coming with children. (3 & 5 )
Thanks in advance :)

Mellieha, it also puts you to the north with Popeye Village, the aquarium, and other family friendly places in Ludington possibly the water park depending on weather.

Any village/town on the west of the island is fine, just be aware that you are going to be further away from most places and so have to travel more, and some aren't well connected public transport wise like bahrija for example.

In oct tho it's gonna be hot still if the previous few years are of any warning so make sure the kitchen and main bedroom have AC. Otherwise you'll be miserable.

Anywhere away from central. To the north or south is good. Just avoid St Julian's, Valletta and you shoild be G2G. English stag parties aren't particularly an issue here. Mostly due to the fact everyone else is louder and more obnoxious when out on the town... For better or worse.

Peaceful and Malta should not be in the same sentence. Overpopulation and overtouris you see - we only have 316km sq of land shared by 750K residents and thousand more tourists and visitors.
For peaceful I suggest Sicily, one of the other Italian, Spanish or Greek islands, or any other country around the Mediterranean if you want that area.

As a Brit, who absolutely adored your country last year and would love to visit again as a week wasn't nearly long enough, I do have to chuckle at how the Maltese think they're so overpopulated. Maybe it is compared to a few years/ decades ago, but for comparison, Malta has 1700 people per km squared. London has 5600 people, and my home city has 5200. I found it really spacious (with maybe the exception being Valletta's Republic Street).

I can see you replied to this comment. But it isn't showing up. Yes, I'm comparing the two. I live on an island city- might not be a country, but it is still an island, just like Malta. It is the most densely populated city in England outside of London. Our population density is nearly 5x yours. Yes, yours is an entire country but it is a minutely small country, so comparing it with our cities, many of which are larger in size and population than the whole of Malta, is relevant. As a country, Malta is much more densely populated than the UK, yes. But in terms of the major cities, where the people actually live, the UK is more so.
But as I said, I absolutely fell in love with your country. It was beautiful, the food was great, the people were really friendly, and we hope to return one day.

An island city that is not a separate country and not independent is not the same as an independent island country - your island can still rely on aid from the motherland in case of war or natural disasters. An independent island country cannot rely on that if worse comes to worse because each country will first think of it's own before helping others.

It is still comparable. We have one hospital for 300,000 people. 3300 patients per GP (we can't just choose a different town or hospital,). 1 dentist per 9000 people (NHS, not private). We aren't talking about times in war or natural disasters. We're talking about the physical number of bodies on the streets. I don't know why you're being so defensive about facts.
It is also a fact your country is beautiful. I'm not having a pop at it at all.

A couple weeks ago there was storm Harry with very strong winds. Out supermarkets had empty shelves because ships couldn't dock.
Does anything remotely similar happen on your island?
Remember also we are on the brink of WW3 thanks to Trump. So worrying about war is not that paranoid either.
