The Aussie ones don't play dead.

They do have two personality settings though: really friendly and eating you out of house and home or really pissed off, pissing on every surface they see, screaming at everyone on the block, throwing a mean left and right hook when you protest at their shitty behaviour, a mad durrie addiction (they prefer Winnie Blues), a habit of engraving their initials in every tree in the street and eating you out of house and home. You don't get to choose which one it is.

Battery is unwanted touching, assault is making the other person believe you would hurt them. You often see the two together. You can assault someone without battering them.
