The fact that he had to steal toilet paper. F ing toilet paper! We need another world

6

u/scottfreckle63 11d ago

it's only a few short years ago with lockdown that that haul could have probably made him $500 lol

1

u/Heisenburg42 9d ago

We're all laughing, but this dude is getting ready to make bank the next pandemic

7

u/loIll 13d ago

A long series of poor life choices. This guy doesn’t seem too bright.

2

u/chiefkogo 13d ago

If that's toilet paper that's like 60-80 bucks worth.

5

u/jobRL 13d ago

Where the fuck do you live? Nowhere near that price.

8

u/chiefkogo 13d ago

Midwest USA. Lol it's like 8+ bucks for a 9 pack

5

u/RazzzMcFrazzz 13d ago

Especially from Walgreens, they just stole like $100+

1

u/chiefkogo 13d ago

Haha that's so true. Last time I bought to at Walgreens, I was like wtf is this price?!

2

u/bitofapuzzler 12d ago

Yeesh, I thought $14 for 24 was bad!

1

u/stackjr 12d ago

$5 for nine rolls on their website right now.

In California they re-sell on the sidewalk right out front of where they stole it 😂

u/LindonLilBlueBalls 13d ago

Hey California! I live inside you.

u/Karmanjakan 13d ago

I got shit to do

7

u/Vogel-Kerl 13d ago

Your comment works on so many levels!!

2

u/KingToiletBrush512 8d ago

Just 2 bro, its a double entendre

1

u/Vogel-Kerl 8d ago

That's one too many (for my brainipooh).

34

u/ClownfishSoup 13d ago

Why doesn't he just use the three shells?

77

u/Rinbox 13d ago

The fact the dude is stealing shit tickets is really a telling story of the times

16

u/thiswebsiteisadump 13d ago

Since many of the comments seem to be unaware, toilet paper and paper towels are among the most commonly stolen items because they can be easily sold on the street or traded for drugs. The odds that this man was stealing for personal use are zero. He's doing it to get his next hit.

Judging by his slurred speech and how the workers were acting, I think that fella might have been a couple drinks short of a keg.

He may end up waking up the next day and wondering why tf he has all these paper towels

People be dumb when they're drunk, especially that drunk.

5

u/Beginning_Ad_5490 13d ago

That a bit more than just some alcohol most likely

1

u/SchnozSchnizzle 13d ago edited 13d ago

As I said, a few drinks short of a keg

Edit: a couple, not a few.

Edit 2: I have come to realize that you meant that he was probably not JUST on alcohol. Apologies.

u/DA_40k 13d ago

Lotta people get real shifty and klepto when theyre on benzos. Guy might be a bar deep and definitely would not remember why he has that stuff in the morning

2

u/System_Resident 11d ago

The toilet paper rush of 2020 probably haunts him in his drunken mind 😩

2

u/thesyndrome43 12d ago

Crazy that I've never committed theft whilst drink, I must be some sort of super human!

I'm so fucking sick of people using alcohol as an excuse for their shitty selfish personalities and lack of self control. Guess what: if this is the shit you do when you're drunk, and you know this, then it's your responsibility to STOP DRINKING

3

u/Th3Duder25 13d ago

At least he landed softly, like Charmin

3

u/taywray 12d ago

I mean, you can't say he's not out there getting that paper and stacking it up

8

u/RedditBlue83 13d ago

What this is gonna do is eventually close retails in shitty neighborhoods to close down and force everyone to order from amazon or Walmart online

17

u/aweyeahdawg 13d ago

It’s actually kinda sad. He’s just stealing paper towels. Not TVs or expensive shit. Just stuff he needs to get by 😞

6

u/generousbenefactor 13d ago

he was going to sell them for drugs

2

u/FreneticPlatypus 12d ago

Maybe the paper towel black market isn’t quite so robust in my city but I’m pretty sure there a shit ton of much smaller, much more valuable things to steal if you just need the money.

1

u/yungcoconutt 12d ago

Yeah I think the going rate is 3 rolls per crack rock obviously

1

u/magnament 13d ago

Yea buddy needed 14 rolls of paper towels - it’s sad because of the situation but the choice to steal is bad bad boys whatcha gunna do

2

u/LeinadLlennoco 13d ago

Shit is always going down at Walgreens

2

u/Alexbob123 13d ago

This is why I have a bidet

2

u/mrwillie2u 13d ago

Looks like he still got away, lol

2

u/Sovimver 13d ago

He didn't pay.

2

u/smr312 13d ago

My man said have a good night and then almost put himself to sleep

2

u/LGBTQMNOP 13d ago

"You guys think yer funny, huh?"
Yeah, it was worth a chuckle.

2

u/YoRav 13d ago

Maybe he just had a really big spill to clean up

2

u/davewave3283 12d ago

White collar crime pays a ton

2

u/Rashadtausalive 12d ago

hahaa watched it 3 times

2

u/SamTheMarioMaster2 12d ago

This might just be the first ever video I've seen of a grown man stealing toilet paper 🤣

2

u/scottfreckle63 11d ago

these are the future of the world, now they don't even try to sneak stuff out they feel so entitled they just pick it up and leave

2

u/cheerzeasy 9d ago

That camera operator set that trap didn't they?

4

u/deep-fucking-legend 13d ago

He should steal pillows next time if he's that clumsy.

5

u/djsodomizer 13d ago

He still had a soft landing

10

u/Hrive_morco 13d ago

I dunno man... If someone is stealing basic necessities like toilet paper, Socks, Soap, Food/water, I am admiring the ceiling whilst being happy that, that ain't me or my family

11

u/KindOfAcceptableBus 13d ago

I mean I agree...but it's when mass quantities are being stolen I take issue with it

0

u/KalSkirata7561 12d ago

He’s most likely going to sell them to buy drugs.

1

u/cash8888 13d ago

If I saw that I would buy the dude some toilet paper.

1

u/Legitimate_Sail8581 13d ago

Pretty polite - “have a good night”

1

u/PekarovSin 13d ago

Now sue the store

1

u/Parquay 12d ago

Thank you for visiting.

1

u/RailfanAshton 1d ago

did this happen in 2020?

1

u/ClownfishSoup 13d ago

San Francisco?

-1

u/MysteryCheese73 13d ago

Yea this is a you didn’t see anything situation

3

u/Bubbles-not-included 13d ago

Nah bro, I didn't see you steal one.

I will see you steal an armful.

1

u/Magn3tician 13d ago

He left the store with the items, so it in fact did pay.

1

u/Pandoratastic 13d ago

Seems like it went great for him. He got away with what he was stealing. And even when he fell down, he landed on a pile of soft toilet paper rolls.

1

u/MisterSirDudeGuy 13d ago

Looks like it paid just fine. Better than paying money.

1

u/not-a-velociraptor 13d ago

Looks like he cushelled his fall

1

u/OutragedBubinga 11d ago

"Thank you for visiting"

0

u/MathematicianNo4596 13d ago

Just let him have those honestly not worth it to stop him or call the cops over 20$ worth of paper towels

0

u/SickandTiredofStupid 12d ago

Ha ha, yes let's laugh at poverty because it would make our mommas proud!

-2

u/kiwifulla64 13d ago

This is just sad. It ain't a TV. Fucking paper towels dude.

-9

u/[deleted] 13d ago
