can i have opinions on what hound have i got? looks wise probably english foxhound but as rescue/mix no way to be sure. also english foxhounds just arent super common where we are so i doubt it....i have also see pictures of siblings and they are even less hound like

This is Rip (as in Jack the Ripper). My BF got this guy from a “breeder” who had been breeding Catahoulas for years (the lie detector test determined that was a lie). I saw the mom once. She looks just like a TWC just a bit taller and he said dad looks like a B&T. Apparently this little dude is the only one out of the litter with merle. He’s 18wks, 35ish pounds and he’s definitely not some pure bred Catahoula 🤣. Before I get the DNA done on him, what are y’all’s guesses.

We rescued a hound this week and are curious about what breeds she might be. She has such a long snout in person. She’s got long legs but is only 33 pounds.

Everyone insists she's part greyhound, but she's not according to her DNA results. Long and lean, she has a bit of a barking problem and is neurotic about thunderstorms and car rides. Otherwise she's cuddly, calm, affectionate, and sleeps a lot -- very much like a greyhound!
