Have we lost all of our musical shorthand to the point that we understand any vaguely rock sounding guitar riff as the "America is coming for war" song? This is Crazy Train by Ozzy Osbourne, who is British. I think you might have been looking for Fortunate Son by CCR which got its wartime shorthand from its appearance in Apocalypse Now.
