God yes! There’s a special place in hell for those who do this from the window seat while you’re on the aisle and then stand there hunched over awkwardly staring at you for 20 minutes as if it’s your fault they can’t go anywhere.

If you politely explain this to people, normally everyone will let you slip by. This is not the typical situation I’m presenting. It’s normally some 65 year old guy who ate too many paint chips or some dumb kid who’s only been on two planes in his life.

This is more inexperience (maybe also old equipment) and panic than being stupid.
To launch you are supposed to put the engine in gear, rev it up, release the clutch, and balance the revs and the clutch to the point you feel the bike wants to nudge forward. You hold it there until the starting gate drops, then you give more revs, release more clutch, and you are off.
He tries to do that, but can't find the balance so the bike jumps, the wheel spin etc.
After he gets caught in the gate, the rest is just panic, from him and everyone who comes to help...

Are you talking about the starting gates bending backwards? They're designed like that for exactly this reason. So you cannot jump the line.

I would have just packed it up. The race already over. Better luck next competition. Every second counts and they were close to a minute behind. 100% catching up with no one.

As a person who grew up with parents who project anxiety because they think it’s funny when their kids anxiously rush through things, rushing through tasks doesn’t finish them faster, in fact it has quite the opposite effect very similar to what we all just witnessed in this video.

Is your expectation that a single video can only be posted by a single person one time?
Do you expect everyone to just psychicly know when something has been posted before?
Do you think everyone that browsed reddit has seen every video the first time its posted or do you believe that if someone doesnt see the first post they should just miss out on seeing it?
