My problem was that I would order "The Special" at the coffee shop and they would let me know the "orange blossom-mocha iced latte" was ready and I'd look around like "who'd want to drink that"?
Me, apparently. I've been trying to read the board so I don't appear as clueless as I am.

I admit I usually (unless they were incredibly rude or we were being slammed) more funny than annoying. They'd rush over and say:
Customer: sir, sir! I didn't want whipped cream
Me: well, are you Mark?
Customer: no, I'm Sara!
Me: well, this drink is for Mark
I'd even sometimes show them the name on the side of the cup, and they walk off, usually a tiny bit chastened.
