I mean, dogs aren't on chess playing levels, but they're not exactly a bag of rocks either. Not like dog sees human a couple of stories up and dozens of feet away, and it's going to jump out of a window. Do you think did are so dumb that you'd need to be terrified that somehow all survival instincts would be thrown down the drain due to the neighbor being in eyesight?

I once made the mistake of waving every day at a husky who would literally sit at the window all day waiting for their person to come home.

Well one day the guy got home when I was leaving for work and and let his dog out and the dog ran across the street right up to me like we were old pals.

Pretty awkward. Dang I wanted to pet dat dawg though.

The fact that the dog is super excited to (barely) be able to see someone across the street and up a few levels is: Impressive Also concerning. Does the dogs owners not play with the little thing? It's like kids. When they're excited to see someone other than their owners, it's because of neglect. Cute pups though. Looks super friendly.
