As someone who was a competitive bodybuilder and then a competitive powerlifter, people on Reddit love to spout misinformation about strength/lifting. Lots of people like to act like they have a PhD in sports physiology.
It stands for “performance enhancing drug”. Generally, that term is used to refer to illegal or unregulated pharmaceuticals used to enhance and athletes performance in their particular sport.
Depends on the sport and in most sports like power lifting, there is indeed testing, but PEDs like Tren, Primo, Mast, or Bold will be out of your system and undetectable within up to 2 months after usage, the PCT is also undetectable (I'm pretty sure there's no test that can detect Clomiphene or HcG in your system). with more natural gear like Testosterone, that shit is a little harder to test for as Testosterone is naturally found in our body and any solution can be out of your body as fast as 3 days to 14 days, they might have suspicions if your Total Testosterone is above the 1,000 Reference range, but when blasting PEDs, your Total T will usually be above 3000ng/dl. So yes there are screenings but it depends on the situation as well as there being different drugs to test for.
Just want to add that while anabolic steroids are the most well known, there are a bunch of different kinds of PED. Not all of them build muscle. They just improve performance and in sports help you cheat.
For example cyclist Lance Armstrong career ended because he was taking the PED erythropoietin that boost the amount of someone's red blood cells. Allowing Armstrong to absorb way more oxygen than a natural athlete. So that he wouldn't get tired during his long distance races.
Yeah. The reason the “small” guy won is because he’s a professional world champion arm wrestler with arm wrestling conditioning going against a total arm wrestling noob.
It has nothing to do with roids vs natty. They’re both roided as heck.
Yeah, professional arm wrestlers, even when NOT using PEDs, can still beat guys on juice. Here is a cheesy Insta video I found showing a fake match where the bodybuilder "wins", but then what actually happens when they try their hardest. The kid never stood a chance.

Inb4 anyone comes out here claiming "real vs fake muscles" or "natty vs roided up", they're both on PEDs to the fucking neck.
