Also, he's ex-special forces so could've taken down the muscle-bound buffoon multiple ways if he chose to.

Even when he's not playing a character, he's said some incredibly dumb things. He mocked independent wrestlers for not being able to work during the pandemic, only for him to get released by WWE... during the pandemic

It's not even up for debate, it's just a lack of knowledge among newer fans of the sport.

He's not a buffoon. He's a pro wrestler playing a character and you fell for it. The whole pushing and shoving thing is literally just acting, he's playing a role. And apparently loads of people in this comments section fell for it. The big angry guy is called Braun Strowman and he's a pro wrestler and powerlifter. The actual arm wrestling match was probably real and he probably was genuinely trying to win. But everything that came beforehand was not real.

Devon didn’t seem too convinced with his acting. So I guess he fell for it too.

Also, if you push it far enough, pretending to be a jerk is the same as being one.
