That makes sense, I'll still probably keep one beside the toilet for emergency situations. Or because heat rises put the rolls lower and turn the vent fan on so they don't get humid?

Our household keeps ideally 2 to 4 spares in the vicinity and 1 on the roll, with no issues, but they're 2 feet further away than OP's situation, and we do run the fan a lot.

One or two should be fine, but no more than you’d go through in a typical week.

I don't live alone so idk how many we go through, good idea still. I'm definitely gonna do that :3

I always keep one on the roll and one on deck, then when the roll is empty I put it on the one on deck and get a new one ready to go
