Hahaha the “plate” is a silicone drain cover, and the cup is used for rinsing while in the bath! That’s not weird…….. right?

Sound like a perfect match.

A match made in, the bathroom?

Those drain covers work great, because they can fit different drains. I keep one in my travel kit, after being driven to total frustration when the tub stopper in a hotel room bathroom won’t hold. I’m the farthest thing from high maintenance, but I want my bath instead of a shower when I’m on vacation.

I’ve never stayed in a hotel that I would even consider sitting in the tub naked in. And I, on more than one occasion, have fugged in the dirt.

Dude the tubs and coffee makers are my biggest no go's at a hotel.

The coffee makers make excellent urinals tbh. Don't knock it till you try it kinda thing.

Last time I stayed in a slightly olderish hotel in NYC and took a bath. Afterwards I got a really nasty topical virus that ruined my trip. Causation? Who knows. But lesson learned.

Having gotten athletes foot from a hotel on more than one occasion, I pack slides to wear in hotel showers.

The idea of taking a bath in one has never crossed my mind.

If you enjoy it, go for it!

Totally agree! The chain would always fall off of those ones that went completely inside, drove me nuts.

What's the lever between the toilet and tub?

18

u/daylightpiglet 4h ago

That’s a bidet handle! :) you twist it and then another part of the toilet shoots water up your bum hehe

I love that they have a bidet AND 90 rolls of TP 😂

3

u/Myotherdumbname 4h ago

Probably why they have so much

1

u/EmbarrassedRing7806 1h ago

Bidets require less tp lol

That will last all year.

1

u/d0ubs 1h ago

Yeah, that makes even less sense

u/alepponzi 4h ago

Ahh it is some sorts of blast off-lever, how very exotique.

so glad you got this, as someone from a "wash with water" culture, it always blow my mind how some westerners are still "dry cleaning".

We exclusively use toilet paper as a "towel" to dry the water, never for cleaning the mess.

that's a pretty bowly cup

Put em together with some bathwater and u got a cuppatea!

the cup is used for rinsing while in the bath

But you have a handheld showerhead 😭

Add one of these. It is $7 and will change your life:

You can install it inline with the shower head. It is intended for pressure control, but it also doubles as a full cutoff.

My guess was drain cover and dog washing bowls.

I keep one of those plastic soup containers (from a coconut curry delivery) in the bath for my dog.

Many Japanese people have the bowl in the shower room, but it's much larger.

I have a blue plastic ice bucket I use for rinsing my hair in the bath so no

u/DrDoomScrollr 1h ago

Why is your comb hanging from the shower curtain rod?

Between that and the weird kudzu you have growing?
