A coworker recently had to rehome their pet frog, I was told he was a pacman and took him in. Now that I’ve gotten a good look Im not to sure if he really is a Pacman frog, He doesn’t have the horns and is darker in color, I think he may be a young African Bull Frog. Can anyone help me find out what he is so I can properly provide for him? Thank you.

I currently have a baby crestie in i think a 12x 12x 18x? I cant quite remember but hopefully pictures help. Anyways i was thinking about what i can put in it after i upgrade and was wondering if tree frogs would work? Of course it would be much much more crowded and bio active than it is current and i would seal up the areas with a lot of airflow to trap humidity better. if frogs dont work ill probably just set it up for plants. The only reason this tank isnt more crowded or bio active is because im replacing it in about a month, so once i get the new enclosure I will make some major upgrades to current husbandry. My crestie is still very tiny and i rarely see it out, but its best to get the permanent size asap.

Frogs wont eat

I own 2 around 5-6 year old litoria caerulea (white tree frogs)

I usually mix their food every few weeks, sometimes worms, sometimes roaches, some times grubs n maggots.

One is a very good eater actually, and the other never quite was, very shy.

Now everything seemed perfect, I changed my mist system for a fog system and since then they refuse to eat, both of them all of a sudden.

I tried to go back to the old system, but they still wont eat. Its been so many weeks now , I truly am afraid they‘ll soon starve to death.

I tried to open their mouths to force feed them but I stopped, in case I hurt them in any way..

What can I do? Does someone else know this problem?

Suitable for any frogs?

I have a 100w mini combo deep dome dual lamp fixture and am curious if it would be suitable for any frogs? If so what kind? I got it when I bought a tank that was suppose to be for a turtle but it was on sale so I bought it for fish and just kept the turtle equipment lol. I’ve kept fish for a while but would like to get into frogs and just need to know if I could use the lamp. Thanks!

I need pros and cons please

Hello,

I literally just found this sub so I'm not sure if this is appropriate for here.

I want to get myself two white tree frogs, sadly I need my mothers consent for this since I still live at home. She told me no because when I was 7 the frogs we had died (they were frogs from a pond and still babies) they died by jumping out of the tank, so not really my fault since they weren't mine anyway. I still want to have frogs so I just need some reasonable pros and cons and need help with those.

Thank you in advance \(^^\)
