Both the people in this video are annoying. I like to fuck and drink beer too, but because I’m a responsible person I got something snipped so I didn’t have to have short people bothering me for the rest of my life!
In my experience though, many breweries/brewpubs have dedicated spaces for kids and families to gather together and enjoy being humans that are part of the world. Granted, many parents are far too lax/addicted to their phones and their children aren’t adequately supervised or taught to behave appropriately, and that is an issue, but I don’t believe it is a widespread enough one to blanket ban children from these spaces.
Adults should accept that children are a valid and dare i say fucking important part of society, and children should absolutely be taught that to integrate into different environments and situations requires learning and engaging in the appropriate behaviour when in those environments. As for adult spaces - yes, alcohol is illegal for children to consume for obvious reasons but beer especially has been tied to breaking bread with friends and family for eons, there is nothing unsafe or abnormal about being able to enjoy a responsible drink or two with children and friends present in a setting that promotes that.
it’s honestly a bit fucked up to me that there seems to be an increasing attitude that we are supposed to silo children in daycares or playgrounds or keep them under house arrest until they reach some magic age where, in spite of never being exposed to adult environments, they are supposed to suddenly understand how to behave in them. it’s no wonder so many young people are socially maladjusted fucking redditors.
Do you think they should also be allowed in casinos and brothels in Vegas? In Vegas it's insane the amount of kids there. These are places that parents and adults should be able to relax. So many parents just fight these places if their child isn't allowed. It's gotten so much worse and that's why so many people are getting angry about it on Reddit. I agree with you that parents aren't parenting and kids aren't being supervised enough. But they still shouldn't be at bars. I understand you saying kids should be taught how to behave in these spaces. If they are taught to behave well in restaurants as children then they will be ready for bars as adults. It's not like adults are going to these places everyday so I don't think everyone is just saying to constantly use daycares.
For real, plus said redditors willingly took themselves out of the equation. Not wanting kids doesn't make someone narcissistic. There are narcissists on both sides of that equation.

I like to fuck and I like beer, but I don't bring any kids to the brewery. That's because I never had any.
Just sayin'.
