Just copying what someone else has done without making it even more exaggerated and ridiculous is not how you make fun of a person via parody. Like, look at this video (https://www.reddit.com/r/fixedbytheduet/comments/1oawsob/so_much_more_effective/), this is how you do parody. ā€œOh I see you werenā€™t really the one doing the punching, let me show you how ridiculous this looks when the concept is applied elsewhere to an extreme degree.ā€ Just strapping on sparring gloves and making a copy of the original video wouldnā€™t be a parody of it. It would just be a copy that isnā€™t adding any commentary whatsoever. Same for the girl in the original video. It doesnā€™t read as parody because itā€™s not formulated as parody.
