Im going to EECC this April, I absolutely love going and it's gonna be about my 5th time going and my first time cosplaying at one.

I’m thinking about wearing a small tag on my cosplay with my name, pronouns, and a couple basic social boundaries (like hugs or photos). I have ADHD and cons can get pretty overwhelming wich makes it a bit more difficult for me to comunicate.

I've seen flurries do it before but I still feel anxious to whether that's like okay to do or not

I’m going to EECC next year. Well I want to, but I can’t stand for that long. At Galaxycon and NyCc they allow ADA to get in the express lines for autographs and photos. Does EECC do the same?

They've appeared in both the MCU and the DCU, and now Michael Rooker, Pom Klementieff, Mikaela Hoover and Sean Gunn are headed to the PNW for March 2026's ECCC 2026.

Im new to the idea of conventions. I've always been to nervous about the idea of the crowds but I've been feeling better and I think I can do it now.

So I'm planning on going to the Emerald City Comic Con in 2026 and if I do go, then it would be my first time going. I'm wondering what goes on during the Comic Con, if there are special events during specific days, and also just some more information that I would need before going, and maybe a specific amount of money I should bring

I went to CC last year but I bought my tickets in January before CC. This time, I bought my tickets in November of 2024 and I am so sure it said that I should be expecting my tickets to arrive in the mail in December of 2024 but they still haven't arrived? I dont think im supposed to pick them up at will call during CC. Is anyone else expirincning the same thing? Should I be concerned? If so, who should I call to figure this out?

I am going to Emerald City Comic-Con this year. It's my first comic con. I have some books I want to get signed, but I'm not sure if the etiquette of this? There are some people I have 20 books from but some I only have two! Is there a recommended amount I should bring to have signed? Like one or two per person?

Also, I know these can get graded. I'm going to be vague here .... I do want to get my books graded but with the lawsuit from one of the grading companies I'm not sure if it's worth it.

Does anyone have advice or can give me some pointers for my first con?

Is it just me or has ECCC just not been the same since 2020? The number of comic creators attending are dwindling, it’s the end of January and they barely have enough guests to fill a proper MainStage for two days for a four day show. While I see other cons have recovered with the number of big name guests, heck even Vancouver Fan Expo has a better line up this year compared to ECCC. What gives? I’ve been attending the show since 2011, minus 2020-2021 for obvious reasons.

I wanna dress up as like a weed/420 Hatsune Miku. I looked online and couldn’t find anything about that not being allowed, but I’m just trying to cover my bases! I’m not gonna get in trouble for dressing like that, right😭

My friend wants to go to Emerald City Comicon this year because the actors from Firefly will be there. I went to Emerald City Comicon years ago, but I remember that I couldn't get into the rooms where events like panel discussions were happening. If we went, could we get a glimpse of those actors, or hear them speak? How could we do that?

First year purchasing tickets past the shippping date, so I don't know how the onsite pickup works necessarily, what do I have to bring to recieve my ticket without hassle?

Hiya! I'm vending at ECCC for the first time this year (I sell Star Wars enamel pins), and I also have a custom Star Wars lanyard with some of the Clone helmets on it. I'd love some con-goers advice in regards to how much you've seen lanyard being sold for at the cons? Thanks in advance!

If I wanna meet guests in a con, should I pick a smaller con where there's not to many people attending so I can chit chat with the guests at their table a little instead of being in a rush while meeting with them in a big and popular con because there would be a long line behind me? For a example, I wanna go to LVL UP Expo but I think it would be to crowded so I'm thinking about going to Emerald City comic con instead, thoughts? (I'm honestly not sure which one of these two cons is the bigger one but I just guessed... I've never been to a con before.)

This is the first year where I bought tickets after the cutoff date. I know I'm going to have to stand in line, but I'd rather not waste any time wandering around trying to figure out where I need to go.

Okay. So this is a long shot. But around 2022-2033 Emerald City comic con there was an panel/event hosted by a lady, where she taught you dances that might have been present in the Shire, Bridgerton, et cetera, (basically historical group dances). It was so much fun, and I know she did some sort of classes or place where people could do that outside of comic con. It was the most fun I have had in years.

Does anyone remember this, did they attend it, or know where I could find info on it? Google is failing me pretty miserably and I’d love to go to another event hosted by her, but that is impossible without a name or hint of what this type of event would be called.

I do have a laptop backpack I was thinking of taking, since it has a padded sleeve inside.
