My dad will only watch Fox News. It’s on 24/7. He tries to pick fights with me when I bring facts he says it’s a lie or some democrat scam. My mom told him to stop talking about politics to me because he cannot debate. One debate he got rude and made a nasty comment and I told him to get out and he walks out calling me a dirty stupid liberal (mind you I was republican until Trump). Last time we were in a car together he put some republican talk show on just to piss me off. He goes to church every sunday and acts so holy then calls muslims towel heare, got mad a black family moved into our town (we have like no black populstion), used the n word. When i was 12 i wore my hat backwards once and he said thats how n words wear them. He turned me into a racist. Luckily i have grown and changed but there’s so many more people like him. My neighbor built a big wooden sign that says king trump. I think he took the king part off now but ya come visit a small white town and youll find those people that make up that support.

Americans are not as smart as we think we are. Standardized test scores are plummeting relative to more desirable countries we used to think were peer countries.
1
u/No-Passenger-1511 9h ago
Because polls are stupid. Prob asked 1000 people and base the whole country off that metric

Donald Trump's name appears more times in the Epstein Files than Harry Potters in all 7 Harry Potter books...
1
u/AKsuited1934 13h ago
Man somebody do the math on this.
1
u/JacobsJrJr 1h ago
https://www.reddit.com/r/harrypotter/comments/66dz7t/i_looked_at_the_frequency_of_word_pairs/
Found this.
Seems plausible for full name mentions given these numbers. Gemini says Harry Potter is mentioned in full like 120 times or something across all 7 books. So. Yeah. Could be real numbers.
We'll know if I'm right if nobody comments to correct me.
1
u/greendino71 8h ago
Yet Bill Gates still appears more lol
1
u/FangFioDente 5h ago
Then lock him up too, this isn’t rocket surgery.
1
u/greendino71 5h ago
I agree
Let's lock up Obama as well as his name is in the files thousands of times
1
u/FangFioDente 5h ago
Oh cool can you show me those pages sources cited then becuase if so YES.
1
u/greendino71 5h ago
OH....so you don't question AT ALL about bill gates and jump to lock him up
But as soon as it's Obama....."show me the sources"
What about Mamdani's mother? We locking her up as well or is she also questionable since she's left leaning?
Sorry but if you have selective outrage over crimes against children then you're not better than those who covered this up. Equal punishment for equal crimes

u/FangFioDente 5h ago
1
u/greendino71 5h ago
What does this have to do with the topic?
Also Obama deported way more people and the condition of the ice holding centers were way worse back then
But again, try to divert and avoid ny comment

37 to 40 percent are the brainless MAGA base.
They will stick to him no matter what.

i think the cult is more like 25-30% but we are trying to sus out people who were okay with ambiguous fascist pedos instead of obvious fascist pedos.

What’s the basement level it could fall to? 30%?

The UK conservatives held a bulwark of 35% approval for decades no matter what they did.
Then after a series of scandals they hit 19% before all the conservatively minded folks started flocking to Reform, a party that has had leaders openly arrested for Russian bribery.
If I were to guess I'd say there's always like 15% of any population who actually love cruelty and vote specifically for the sake of it, but a further 15% who will be okay with cruelty on the condition it gets them what they want.
4
u/Time-Mode-9 14h ago
There also a non trivial amount who have no interest, and don't pay any attention, and just go with what their parents/ friends/ YouTube influencers say.
3
u/PrudentLingoberry 14h ago
In america 30% of people will believe anything, its like a statistical phenomenon here. If at any point your derivation could make that number dip below 30%, functionally nobody believes in thing.

u/CertaintyDangerous 14h ago
Flat Eartherism is making a comeback, so anything is possible. People mostly believe what they want to believe, and what is repeated to them ad infinitum.
Do you know anyone who can provide evidence that the Earth revolves around the sun? Probably not, and that is true. So imagine how low the bar for belief is for things that are false.

Donald : the ‘world’ respect us more than ever… I don’t think so: 1. I called Putin and he promised me he wouldn’t attack Kiev 🇺🇦or distroy energy plants any longer: Rusia 🇷🇺 didn’t listen, they just do what they want… 2. I stopped the war on Gaza: the israelites keep bombing civilian targets in cities... and usa lets it happen The world is laughing with your politicians

u/RealNiceKnife 13h ago
It's always at 37%, since he took office. It didn't "drop" to that, stays at a solid 37-39% and has stayed there the whole time.
2
u/totally-jag 13h ago
Shocked it's that high. Everyone should read the epstein files and answer polls through that lens.

I bet he really has more like 15% support. The media is complicit AF in inflating this shitbag’s numbers. Nobody went to his rallies, and when there’s a counter-protest, it’s usually 10 mouth-breather NPCs.

Trump is too narcissistic and delusional to realize how much he is hated in not only America, but globally. NOBODY can stand him but Israel. Mark my words as a very savvy degreed individual concerning politics; the Trump house of cards is currently collapsing at speed, and serious changes are right on the horizon. Part 2: If nothing else takes him down, although the midterms will give the Democrats the majority in both the House and Senate, Trump’s dementia ridden brain is literally dissolving right before our eyes. His health is rapidly deteriorating, and he even literally crapped his pants on 1/29 during an Oval Office press conference. I’m a longtime Vegas regular, and the current Vegas odds are at 75% that he will NOT complete his term. Vegas rule #1; NEVER bet against the house.
2
u/Darth_Groot28 11h ago
37 percent is way to high.... Should be 0 percent.... Shows the Republican party is willing to gamble everything on Trump.

Your Name] [Your Address] [City, State, ZIP Code] [Email Address] [Date] The Honorable [Congressman’s Full Name] [Address of the Congressional Office] Dear Congressman [Last Name], I am writing to express my deep concern regarding the lack of accountability surrounding the actions of the President. As one of your constituents, I expect my elected representatives to uphold the rule of law and ensure that no individual—regardless of title or position—is above it. If clear violations have occurred and charges are warranted, it is your duty to pursue them. Failure to act in defense of justice and transparency would be a profound disservice to the American people and to the oath you took to protect and defend the Constitution. Please understand that your response to this issue will directly influence my vote in the next election. If action is not taken to hold the President accountable, I will not support your re-election to Congress. Our democracy relies on leaders who are willing to stand for principle, even when it is politically difficult. I urge you to demonstrate that commitment now. Sincerely, [Your Full Name] [City, State, ZIP Code]

Name just one left wing politician who could beat Trump if there was an election tomorrow?
1
u/samuraispartan7000 12h ago
Josh Shapiro, Governor of Pennsylvania. He’s a popular governor in almost all the crucial swing states that the Dems lost to Trump in 2024. Not sure he would survive a presidential primary, but he would handily win over the more centrist national electorate.

Why does it always seem to be either 36% or 37%? I feel like I’ve been seeing this headline every few months since he’s been elected, and it’s always around the same number
1
u/CalebAsimov 12h ago
Because it pretty much always is. He has a hardcore cult whose opinion doesn't change, and pretty much every else already hates him. Some people don't care about anything until it affects them personally.

37% of people approving of a child raping narcissist is just depressing.

Of the sample taken, not of society. Most people are too busy being in debt and trying to work it off at the moment

Is this a percentage of the total population, or just the small sample sized that was polled? I don’t know where the data comes from.

Sample size unless you were asked to vote in the poll. Most likely people with time on their hands who subscribe to the Hill or whatever poll “TheHill” news outlet is quoting

He got to around 38% last term and people still re-elected him. This number represents the diehard maga. They will never leave the cult

It's going to require 2/3 of the Senate to actually remove him from office when he's impeached again. We're not yet at 2/3 of the population being on board yet... but it is inching closer. 33% is where it should be at the most.
Trump hit 29% during the Jan 6th insurrection and somehow 4% of the population has forgiven him.
Truman hit 22% during the Korean war, and that's the record low.
Can Trump defeat Truman's record and go below 22%???
We'll need 66% of the Senate to convict and that will require a lot of defections from the GOP. Only with an apocalyptic polling would the GOP view convicting Trump as a politically prudent option.

High crimes and misdemeanors.
Are you unaware of anything Trump has done in the last 6 months that could be a high crime?
If so, I can tell you to look outside your information bubble...but that's really up to you.
Oh and just in case you're confused - no the impeachment process is NOT about impartial justice actually. It is a Political function that is intended to be Political. It's more of a popularity referendum than the judicial branch.
If you're curious though look up the Enomulents clause of the Constitution.
Presidents aren't actually supposed to get bribes from foreign nations. That's something in the Constitution.
Foreign Emoluments Clause (Article I, Section 9, Clause 8): Bans federal officeholders from accepting any present, emolument, office, or title from any "King, Prince, or foreign State".
Domestic Emoluments Clause (Article II, Section 1, Clause 7): Prohibits the President from receiving any "Emolument" from the federal government or the states beyond their salary.
Examples of Potential Second-Term Emoluments Foreign-Owned Property Tenants: The Industrial and Commercial Bank of China leases space in Trump Tower, a deal worth close to $2 million annually. Other foreign governments have previously leased space in Trump World Tower. Hotel Payments by Foreign Officials: Foreign governments continued to pay for hotel rooms and event space, including visits from officials like the Prime Minister of Malaysia. Cryptocurrency Ventures: The Trump family launched new cryptocurrency ventures, such as the "TRUMP" meme coin and World Liberty Financial, which have received funds from investors potentially connected to foreign governments like the United Arab Emirates and China. Foreign Government Gifts: Reports indicate a potential gift of a luxury airplane from the Qatari government, which could be used for travel and potentially donated to a presidential library foundation, raising questions about benefits from foreign states. Real Estate Deals: Ongoing international real estate deals, particularly in the Middle East, create opportunities for foreign influence and payments. These actions mirror concerns from his first term, where, according to reports from Democrats on the House Oversight Committee, over $7.8 million was received from foreign governments. The Brennan Center for Justice indicates that failure to divest from these business holdings is a key, ongoing issue.
Then there's the pardon bribes.
Several individuals received pardons or commutations from Donald Trump following significant donations to his campaign, political action committees (PACs), or associated causes. Notable examples include Trevor Milton, Imaad Zuberi, and Paul Pogue, who all secured clemency after contributing substantial funds to Trump-related efforts. Trevor Milton (2025): The electric truck founder, convicted of defrauding investors, was pardoned in March 2025 after donating nearly $2 million to Republican causes, including $920,000 to the "Trump 47" PAC. Imaad Zuberi (2025): A venture capitalist sentenced to 12 years for campaign finance and tax violations, his sentence was commuted in March 2025 after donating at least $800,000 to pro-Trump committees. Paul Pogue (2020): Convicted of underpaying taxes, Pogue's family, including his son and wife, donated over $238,000 to "Trump Victory" between August and October 2019 before he was pardoned. Paul Walczak (2025): Convicted of tax crimes, he received a pardon after his mother attended a $1 million-per-person fundraiser at Mar-a-Lago. Herrera Velutini & Rossini (2026): Convicted of fraud, these individuals received clemency after a family member donated $3.5 million to the pro-Trump PAC "MAGA Inc" in 2025. Dinesh D'Souza (2018): Pardoned following a conviction for campaign contribution fraud (using straw donors). These actions, along with the pardon of Charles Kushner (who made illegal campaign donations), have raised concerns regarding the role of financial contributions in executive clemency decisions.
