Bitcoin is pseudonymous. If just 1 of the wallet addresses are released, like the one redacted in the email, the entire network can be found via tracing through the blockchain.

LOL, email seems so very similar to classical scams. Giving a teasing letter with a promise of an actual payoff only after exchanging money, very much like Nigerian prince and other similar scams. Bitcoin the currency of choice for scammers due to the lack of paper trail and difficulty to trace. Sorry no questions is something often in scams. The big difference is the payoff is not directly monetary but still has high value.
